(Long time, no see! I think I haven't posted here since the Harkles' wedding.) So I was already thinking, "It's got to be humiliating for Andrew, having to wear civvies when his brothers and sister are in uniform," when they were walking behind QEII's coffin. And then he got heckled! Yeah, he can't strut in that Navy uniform any more. Mum took away all his honors, and now he's exposed as, yes, a sick old man. |

I'm wondering how long it's going to take Andrew and Fergie to get remarried. They have essentially been "together" this whole time. They are the weirdest couple in the world and I dislike both of them immensely but, again, weirdly, their daughters seem to have turned out to be good people. I think they've probably been waiting for Liz and Phil to kick the bucket before they got back together officially.

I'm predicting remarriage as well. It will be interesting to see how Andrew proceeds from here. His biggest protector is gone, but I think the palace kept him reasonably in line because he didn't want to cause further embarrassment to his mother. Now that she's gone, will he try to reenter public life in some way? Charles and William seem to want him on a tight leash, but what power do they really have over a grown man who's probably about to inherit a big chunk of his mother's estate? I would have said they would get remarried but that was before the Epstein thing. No one is going to want to touch Fergie if she gets married to him again, and she already has problems with cash flow. That would mess up her earning potential by being even more closely associated with him, even if everyone already knows they’re married in all but name anyway.

They've been living in Royal Lodge since 2008. I don't know exactly how "together" they are, but she's loudly defended him since the Epstein stuff came out.

I wonder how Andrew is reacting to the news that Virginia withdrew her suit against Alan Dershowitz and said she may have been mixed up and she never met him?
I don’t think it’ll help him any, but I’m sure there’s some temper tantruming going on.
