What was really gross were the sucking noises and how his mouth and face were wet from sucking....*shudder*

I started watching Camelot on Starz before I started watching Game of Thrones and now I'm like, "Came-what"? Really, Camelot blows compared to GoT. Same here and the only thing that kept me watching was Eva Green's performance. By episode 4 it got so bad not even Green could keep me watching, GAME just blows it away on every level. One thing does kind of nag a bit and it's only because I really liked Eva Green's terrific, full throated performance as a conniving, powerful woman. GAME has a powerful conniving woman too and I like Lena Heady but when I saw her in 300 and the Terminator show I noticed she was a little reserved on the expressive side and mainly had a stern look on her face. On GAME we are 5 episodes in, that stern look is there and she still kinda mostly looks like she's just smelled a fart. I don't know, I haven't read the books so maybe this is how Cersei is supposed to be played. It's just when everyone is doing a great job on an excellent show and seeing what Green did with a similar kind of character you start thinking how even more exciting the show might be. Anyway this show is the best thing I've seen since ROME, no question.

robneville, I think Headey is playing Cersei as she's meant to be played; for those who've read the books, the first strong female character I can think of is Brienne, but I'm sure opinions differ on that (I personally wouldn't count Catelyn until she undergoes her 'transformation').

Thanks petitesuite. I figured Headey was playing her as written, a more emotionally reserved, calculating chess player. I like her as an actor, I'v only seen her in 3 things and in all of them she's been mostly a sort of stoic, reserved character.
Green's performance was a different take on someone manipulating those around her to get power, by contrast she was really enjoyable to watch.

Good episode last night - GREAT ending! I was not sad at all to see him go.
I didn't get to see the preview on HBOGo. Anyone catch it? Was it good?

I'm still reeling from the last scene. "Fire cannot kill a dragon." Wow. What a way to go.
I heart this show so much. I didn't log on to HBOGo because then what would i look forward to?

I loved last night's ep....and I did watch episode 7 on HBGgo. Not as good as episode 6, but it did have me on the edge of my seat. One storyline went very quickly and unexpectedly. And that's all I'm gonna say about that.
Holy molten gold, that was one great ending on ep 6!! He got the crown, alright. Not sad about that AT ALL. I friggin love Celisi and Drego, loved him carrying her around all bloody, loved how proud he was of her and I love how she is turning to be who her brother thought he should've been. She is truly a queen.
This show has filled the void that LOST left when it went off. I'm so happy.

I felt sorry for her brother, for just a second, because he realized she was getting the adulation he has never had... but he had to go and be an ass to her in front of her husband, and overplayed his hand. Hope you enjoy that gold crown there, buddy.
Loved the Imp last night - he gets the best lines, that one. The week before, when that guy who championed him said "Give me a few men and some grappling hooks, I'll impregnate the bitch", and the Imp responded "Oh, I like you!" , and this week trying to convince the dimwitted guard that he would pay him for giving a message that he wanted to confess... then going into detail about what he did to the turtle soup that his sister ate - my husband and I were much amused. More Imp, please!
So now we know what the former Hand was doing, checking on the hair color of all the king's bastards, and his family's history, and coming to the same conclusion that Ned is coming to - the king's pinch-faced son is not the king's. I wonder if that's why the queen is sexing up her brother, to be assured that the future king's line comes completely from their side of the family.

I'm so obsessed with this show right now, that I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when it goes on hiatus. I'm not sure how many more episodes are left, but I can already see where things are headed, and I seriously believe that there are going to multiple heartbreaking deaths coming soon. I literally shouted, "Tonks!" when I saw the hill-folk (?) wildlings (?) attack Bran. I wonder if she'll be Theon or Robb's new sex slave now that Roz has gone on to greener pastures. And wow, are we going to see frontal nudity almost every episode? If so, I demand more male frontal nudity. The Imp was on fire last night, but I think his smugness will catch up with him eventually. Peter Dinklage is a lock for Supporting Actor awards. I was screaming at Sansa for being a shallow, brainless idiot for falling for Malfoy's Joffrey's bullshit, but she redeemed herself by unwittingly giving her father the final piece of the puzzle. And Jeez Ned, your pride and ethics are not doing you any favors. Littlefinger is obviously playing you. This will not end well. And I think the "slow" Lannister boy is poisoning the King, and might have poisoned Jon Arryn. He may be playing dumb, or is being duped by the Queen and her brother/lover. And Varserys, you poor, dumb bastard. The scene was gnarly as hell. Not bloody, or gruesome, just really, really creepy. Ugh. This show is crack.

Yup. My total speculation, as I have not read the books, is that Cersei's firstborn may not have died of natural causes and what is she going to do when she figures that out?
I love the Calesi. I love that she went from such a pawn to major player. Good for her. Won't miss her bro, but I do hope they include a scene in the next episode where the council is told of his death. I want to see what they have to say and if they have any inkling that Dani could be a threat in more ways than one.
