I heard that theory too. I think he must have had tacit approval to share something as private as that. As to why I have no idea. But the getting ahead of H theory sounds plausible.

I think from the same source, I read that Elizabeth and Phillip went weeks without seeing each other when he retired. Apparently that changed during lockdown which they spent together.

But, I don't get the weeks spent apart. Granted it was an extremely long term marriage, and rich people do things differently, but weeks? It does make me think he was having an affair of some sort with Penny, at the very least emotional. Which makes me wonder if the rumors of other dalliances are true as well.

Not sure where to post this, but longtime lady-in-waiting to the Queen, Lady Susan Hussey, resigned after asking an English black women where she was from, repeatedly and in a really rude way at an event for an organization called Sistah Space. Lady Hussey is old, but Jesus Christ, why can't they do some sensitivity training on some of these people?

Apparently this is the convo:
LS: Where are you from?
Woman: Sistah Space
LS: No, where do you come from?
Woman: We're based in Hackney.
LS: No, what part of Africa are you from?

What's wrong with these people?

The job of a lady in waiting has always been an honorary one given to aristocrats so royals could have an inner circle of companions who come from nobility. I would imagine this woman, who is 83 years old and titled, has absolutely no qualifications whatsoever to be dealing with the public, and especially not a diverse one.

Queen Camilla announced that she's not having any ladies in waiting and is instead having six Queen's companions which sounds exactly like ladies in waiting under a different name. There's a Marchioness, a Baroness and two Ladies among her "companions". And Lady Susan Hussey must still have been employed in a similar capacity if she was helping host the event.

It doesn't sound like there's much of the "modernizing" the article gives Camilla credit for in those decisions. Here's modern: don't hire your old, racist aristocrat friends to do jobs that should be done by professionals who are trained to meet current employment standards, such as not asking black citizens which part of Africa they are from.

That does sound terrible, especially the way she reported the conversation. However, I’m wondering if it was slightly exaggerated. She wrote out the entire conversation, which is excellent recollection. This same woman has previously accused Charles and Camilla of domestic violence against M. And stated that it was racism that H&M weren’t on the royal balcony. She may have had an agenda.

Oh, she definitely did have an agenda, if you look at her social media. But the BRF have to take the L on this one. They need to get the folks out who have no idea how to talk to people that are non-white, and they need to vet guests better. They have the Sussexes a narrative.

I think Lady Hussey must have admitted that she said it and resigned accordingly. It was said in the presence of more than one person.
