"We are not conflating the two..." LOL, yeah you are, In the Cut. I have only been able to find that one Deseret article about this (the one linked in the tweet) and it most definitely does not say that the remains found were "three women" like the tweet says. It says skeletal "bits and pieces" were found and the coroner is enlisting the help of anthropologists. These remains don't sound like they got there recently and even if they did, Armie having been in the vicinity at some point in 2020 is not enough to draw a line to him being a murderer.

Wow. I'm surprised this hasn't been disguised as a blind item. Dropping Armie's name in there was pretty ballsy and potentially stupid. I wonder what other info will come out on him though.

Monday morning and the big news hasn’t yet dropped. His family has got the money and connections to hire lawyers and fixers to cover up stories and get him out of trouble. It the big story is indeed criminal in nature (which it probably is) I hope he goes down!

Yeah, if they weren't intentionally conflating the two, they wouldn't even have posted that shit together. In the age of immediate public backlash, it's so dangerous to drop vague allusions to stuff like that. It hits the web and immediately spreads everywhere, you can't put the genie back in the bottle. However, if the real "bomb" is more mundane than say, triple murder in the desert, it's to his advantage to have a wild story out there to bury the real one. It could even have been his own people putting something easily disproved and ridiculous to get the internet buzzing so an "Armie Hammer is trending" spike won't draw eyeballs to whatever the real story is.

Yeah, I'm seeing that tweet linked a lot of places, and people don't even bother to read the article and see that it doesn't even say what In the Cut claims it says. They deserve to be sued, but maybe Armie's not really on top of deploying lawyers right now.

My brother is so annoyed because he now thinks that Death on the Nile will never get released. Tell him to rent the 1978 version! But, yeah, I was kind of looking forward to seeing this one--now, who knows what the studio will do with it. Oh, he owns that. He’s a huge Agatha Christie fan. Wondering if this winds up get released directly to a streaming service unannounced or something.

Has anyone read the Vanity Fair article? It's about Armie but also covers A LOT of his family. This is a very messed up family and as you read about them, it's not surprising at all that he ended up this way.

He sounds like a serial killer.

He sounds dangerous, psycho, immature, narcissistic and very unpleasant to be around. The descriptions of him in the Caymans going stir crazy, OMG the hardship. It's just too much being trapped in a high end condo in paradise! There's nothing to do, he's so bored, he must escape, he needs GIRLFRIENDS. I feel sorry for his kids and ex-wife.
