Has anyone read the Vanity Fair article? It's about Armie but also covers A LOT of his family. This is a very messed up family and as you read about them, it's not surprising at all that he ended up this way. I'm afraid to read anything more about him.😂 It actually allowed me to have a tiny bit more empathy for the guy. I was positive he was a serial killer in his off-hours. But apparently, sexual cannibalism is actually a recognized kink. Probably not a common one, but recognized and one whose participants are not typically violent. It's strictly fantasy. I had never heard of that before outside of actual killers. And his family is so unbelievably screwed up. I'm not sure he really had a chance. I'm not joining his fan club anytime soon. But I also don't think he's quite as much of a monster as I was imagining based solely on the text messages.

It's called "Vore" and is particularly common in Furry communities. For the most part, it's harmless.
Mixing it up with murder and abuse of romantic partners is, however, a big red flag.

Being officially investigated on sexual assault charges.

If these allegations about this sexual assault are true, then this is another example of how much of a demented individual he is. His legal representation claims that all of Armie's sexual relations have been "consensual". His victim's lawyer Gloria Allred had to remind people that the minute a person withdraws consent, then he [Armie] has a legal obligation to stop.

Why is it always Gloria Allred who is hired for this? She and her daughter are both scum.
Allred is only ever after payoffs for her clients, so the victim will probably stop cooperating with the police if and when Armie is able to come up with a sum that Allred likes.

Like Laura Wasser is the go-to lawyer for celebrity divorces, Gloria Allred is the go-to for women who have been wronged by men. I think it all started when she was a lawyer for Nicole Simpson's family.

I think it all started when she was a lawyer for Nicole Simpson's family. Before that, she represented Paula Jones in her lawsuit against Bill Clinton. I have been watching the trademark Gloria Allred victim press conference (she never represents anyone without a press conference) for 30 years. In three decades I feel like at least one other lawyer should have stepped up to break up this monopoly and give effective legal counsel to victimized women without being so sleazy about it.

Are lawyers in California allowed to approach potential clients? I know there are ambulance chaser laws in some states that prevent this, but I do wonder how she ends up representing so many high profile victims. Possibly a 3rd party goes to them and suggests, "hey if you need a lawyer I know Gloria Allred." I was listening to a podcast about the OJ trial and one of the principal players got a phone call from a random stranger that said, "if you need a lawyer, call this person" and they never heard from them again. Hiring Allred guarantees that the case will get media attention. Whether that translates into effective legal advocacy is another matter.
Topic - I'm pretty sure AH will eventually weasel his way out of this. His family is very experienced in surviving scandal. I just don't ever want to see him on a movie screen ever again.
