Working things out with his ex? I will lose all respect for her if this is true, but it's in People so it must be publicist approved. I guess it is in her interest to help him clean up his image so he can get future roles but good grief, she is an idiot if she takes him back.

Can we have Armie Hammer actually canceled? In between Bill Cosby taking the Fifth Amendment, Louis C. K. returning for a comedy special called “Sorry”, and Mel Gibson and Mark Walhberg doing another movie together, WTF?

Yikes. I would rather be single forever than to be married to Armie Hammer. Taking him back would be a terrible decision for her. I do wonder if this is a favor where they play a happy family and try to rehabilitate his career and they both benefit financially but I think it’s futile. I know he’s a rich attractive white guy but there are some things even that can’t save. The allegations coupled with the blandness and lack of talent are a death knell for his career. He’s over.

Nothing can save his career. It was dead even before all this happened so I’m not even sure why she’s bothering.

Death on the Nile is opening soon. Sounds like a Publicity rehab.

I was just reading an article about what a trashpile the cast of Death on the Nile is, ranging from rapist cannibal Armie Hammer to Russell Brand, who is Joe Rogan of the UK.
I don't think the studio wants Armie doing any PR rehab for this movie. I think the studio wants the entire cast to shut the hell up while they dump this mess in theaters and have Kenneth Branagh promote it on his way to the Oscars.

Now I have two reasons to avoid this version. I haaaaaate Russell Brand. I never liked him (he's creepy) but when he and Jonathan Ross left those horrible messages on Andrew Sachs' answering machine, my dislike turned into outright hate. The guy's a talentless dick. Topic? And so, it seems, is Armie.

I can't imagine getting back together with his wife will help Armie's image much, all it will do is hurt hers. Plus there was a small but vocal contingent who excused everything he'd done because his wife was a Trump supporter so obviously nothing that was wrong with their marriage was his fault. /End Politics. As far as his career goes the above article is correct he never really "happened" anyway even before any of this stuff so I don't see him getting anywhere from this, even if he gets small roles here and there.
Russell Brand does have some good things to say about recovery but that's about it.
Death on The Nile, like Murder on the Orient Express and a couple of others have been done to death, pun intended so even though I like Kenneth Branagh I would have given it a pass anyway.
