Cheesa sounded like she was singing through a mouthful of syrup. THIS. When she was singing "I Have Nothing" on Monday, she would sound just like that on so many of the notes, that it was far too masculine. I think she can sing OK for part of her songs, but never consistently throughout them. And her attitude blows. Oh My God. Adam blathered on for, like, half the show about his decision. It's not like it was close. Katrina was clearly better than Mathai. Luckily, I recorded it and was able to FF. But yes, it was like 10 minutes! Katrina is miles beyond Mathai and he needed Katrina to go farther in the competition. I think they get worried people are going to dislike them if they don't go over the top in their eliminations.

So now I'm wondering if Christina deliberately started a feud with Tony Lucca in order to actually get him to the final? Because if she really just wanted to smack the guy down for whatever shit happened in their past? It SO backfired. He doesn't seem to get why she's being so bitchy either...
And she's back to looking like shit.
I do agree with her, though. I loved Katrina. Maybe If Christina would have shut up, Tony would have been gone already. He seems like a nice guy, but he's sort of average in talent.

I think it's strange that she has seemed to go out of her way to go in so hard on Tony.

What an awful F4. I haven't watched last night's episode and I won't bother. I'll just YT last season's performers. I'm glad they got to perform last night again and I'm sure they made this season's crop look like amateurs.

I heard all about who got kicked off before it aired on the west coast. Glad I didn't tune in because I think I'd have a broken TV.
Unreal that BOTH Erin and Katrina got kicked off last night. They were fantastic and I would love to hear them some more with both covers and original content.
I don't get the jabs Xtina made, either. However, I totally agree with her 100% about whom Adam should have pulled for I just don't think she should have been so vocal about it.

I'm fine with Rocker Chick, Opera Boy, Backup Singer Guy and Pissin' Off Christina Guy as the final four. It was the best choices that could be made, IMO.
I never thought Katrina sounded any better than any karaoke singer in any old bar (and that wig was just ridiculous) , and Erin kept dropping notes left and right. Lindsay was just .... God Awful. That wispy cracking voice crap made me want to kill something. Jamar was good, but Juliet was better on Monday. And I felt like he was being kept around just for the backstory.
I'd love to hear Opera Boy sing Unchained Melody.

Great song suggestion LN! How can we make that happen, because it NEEDS to.
You just reminded me of something I am missing this season compared to last season, and that is some of the really random song choices. Remember when Bev did The Thrill is Gone? Great song, but a totally unexpected choice. Team CeeLo doing Everyday People was another classic moment. I still have Jared Blake's version of Not Ready to Make Nice on my ipod.
I did like Tony's Hit Me Baby, but not as much as when Marty did it on RockStar. And I guess, as far as the show goes, Ave Maria is a pretty random choice, but for Chris it was safe.

Well, I'm rooting for Juliet. I think she's pretty awesome and I hope she wins. I don't care much about the others though. It was really great seeing Beverly again.

Although I don't think Juliet has the best voice of the final four (or even some of the final eight, for that matter), her performances of Man's World and Roxanne were freaking phenomenal. I had been supremely disappointed after last week because I thought she would absolutely KILL Aerosmith's Cryin and she didn't do so AT ALL. What a missed opportunity that was.
At this point I am leaning toward Chris (especially if he takes LurkerNan's advice!), but the 12-year-old in me is trying to make me cheer for her first "celebrity" crush, Tony Lucca. :)

I've just never been into Tony, I just don't think he's that great. So I guess what Christina said to Adam about taking a look at Katrina over the predictable Tony was on point for me. The judges are there to judge. Although given what has gone on the past couple of weeks I can understand the sentiment that Christina is being too anti-Tony. I wish Katrina would have made it in over Tony. But it is what it is. Interesting breakdown of last night's vote by Entertainment Weekly. Katrina had much more public support than I thought: "The Voice" recap: Democracy Interrupted. Adam's vote really helped Tony. Also pleased for Juliet making it through. Jamar had the inspirational story, but Juliet has peaked at the right time.
