Well, apparently it was super ugly..

“Christina found out that Adam planned to have his finalist, Tony Luca, sing 99 Problems by Jay-Z, in which he'll sing "I've got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one” the source explains. “Adam and Tony wanted to call Christina out as a bitch but make it clear she's not a problem for Tony. It was completely aimed at her. It was Adam’s idea, but Tony absolutely loved it.”

However, the 31-year-old mom flipped out.

“Christina thought it was ridiculous. She was highly offended,” the source explained. “It ended up that NBC told Adam to change 'bitch' in the song's lyrics to 'chick.'”

But Adam, 33, would not relent, arguing that changing the song completely ruined it and he wouldn’t do that to Tony, the source explained.

“He said changing the song would be a death sentence,” the source continued.

Adam – furious at Christina – blew up at her during the coaches’ rehearsal for Free Your Mind.

“Adam went right up to Christina and said ‘you’re the biggest f***ing c***,” the source said. “Obviously Christina was appalled and hissed that Adam should be fired. She’s sick of being treated this way.”

“Christina is so sick of Adam being looked at as the golden boy of the show. If America knew how disgusting he was, they would be appalled, she always says,” the source admitted.

Adam’s outburst led to a halt in production rehearsals.

“Adam wouldn’t do anything until this gets figured out,” the source revealed. “He was being incredibly immature.”

Locking himself in his trailer, Adam put the whole set in a frenzy, the source said.

The whole thing was a “huge fiasco,” the source admitted. “By midday it wasn’t even confirmed that Adam would be going through with the coaches performance. It was that bad."

It's Radar, so who knows how much of that is made up. But so not cool.

It's an easy gig, geez... they both needed some tranquilizers this season. Between this and Christina's vendetta against a washed up Mouseketeer.... get over yourselves.

I don't think she had anything against Tony at first. If anything, I think Adam and Tony have kind of mean girled/ganged up on Xtina.

They're both such babies. I wouldn't miss them if they were both replaced next season.

I agree, Mulva. I don't think she had anything against him either. I may be naive, but I think she truly believes the show should be about the best voice. Not the most popular, like it is with AI. People have already called out the fact that last year's winner hasn't done squat, so why go the popular route again?

I also think Adam's going through some things. I think his breakup with Anne V affected him more than I thought it would.

When though? Baby One More Time? She had already made up her mind to give him any and all negative comments by that point. It stuck out so weirdly because they all try to say good stuff, and Tony was no worse than anyone else. If Christina had been even with her criticism of the other so-so singers, no one would have even paid attention.

She's been poking at Adam since the show started. Not sure what the problem is because at best, he ignores her. Maybe that's what bugs her so much. At any rate, he needed to leave it alone and not be a jerkoff. But Adam has been looking and acting oddly fragile and sad since the live shows started.

I'm so sick of Tony, Christina and Adam. All three need to grow up. I feel so sorry for everyone else involved in their little petty wars. Christina was gunning for Tony ever since she was told who he was, for whatever reason. Both he and Adam should have left well enough alone but decided to be passive-agressive. Christina needs to learn if she can dish, then she can take it. Everyone has just been immature and unprofessional all around.

I don't think Adam has ignored her at all; in fact, I think he has added fuel to the fire and tried to engage her in a "feud" every chance he gets. Who knows what's really happening behind the scenes, but from what we can actually see, it seems to me that Adam is being passhole-aggresshole with his song choices, while Christina is staying above the fray, working with her people, and giving critiques to the other contestants, which is what she's supposed to do.

But, overall, I do agree with you, Onyx. It's really not fair to the other contestants. This silliness has eclipsed them and their 15 minutes.

From reading comments here and on TWOP, I don't understand why everyone assumes 99 Problems was directed at Christina? Just because of that tabloid article on Radar? "A source says..." is hardly legitimate to me. Plus, if she really thought it was directed towards her, I can't imagine she would have had anything nice to say about the performance, but she did acknowledge he sounded good. I must be missing something.

From my perspective, Christina started the whole thing with her "I find you very one-dimensional" comment, and she has been going in hard on Tony ever since. And since she has known him since childhood, it has always felt very personal, IMO.

I can't believe Jermaine did "I Believe I Can Fly". How cliche can you get? That's almost up there with "I Will Always Love You" as far as predictable talent show songs go.

And "I Raise You Up". Really, so predictable to give Chris Mann, Josh Groban.

Although having finally actually watched the whole show - I hope Chris wins. He seems like a sweet man, with a lovely voice. Although I wanted to punch Christina is the head when she had to steal his thunder with her, "Here's a REAL MAN!" shit, she was pretty awesome with him on The Prayer. But good Lord all mighty, put the boobs away. That gold dress, the golden globes... gimme a break. Talk about stealing thunder.

The show has gone downhill so fast it's not even funny. CeeLo was going off on Twitter last night, he is pissed about the drama and called Tony and Adam out on Twitter about swaying votes. He has since deleted them, but he was pissed. I'll keep watching the UK and Australia versions, the talent if a billion times better.
