I love Tessanne and Austin. I have no illusion that Nic Hawk is going to win but, gosh darn it, I like him!
Overall, this season is kinda boring, but I'm not sure why...

I like the judges on The Voice but somehow the winners never seem to take off. On Idol it's the reverse, but I do like Keith Urban and I'm looking forward to Harry Connick Jr.
Maybe The Voice winners don't get good songs? It's strange.

"Nice" Christina is seriously freaking me out. What's next? Plague, floods, famine, Christina being positive. The End is near, people!
Other than that, I'm just getting caught up, so I'm not sure who's still in it. Tessanne is very good.

Yeah, "nice" Christina is strange to me. I wonder if she'll get tougher next week week? I'm not used to her being so positive.
I like Stephanie Anne, Caroline, Matthew and Austin. And, like you guys, I don't think Nick Hawk can win, but damn if he's not entertaining to watch.

I've started to really like Caroline, too. When Blake chose similar sounding women the past few years I never liked them, but she is really mesmerizing and I don't get tired of her voice. I'm glad she's with Ceelo.

She's so cute without seeming like she's TRYING to be cute, and her singing just sounds effortless and natural. She was also adorable when she was stealing CeeLo's chocolate-covered raisins. I don't understand half the things that come out of CeeLo's mouth (my favorite is when he'll start some kind of stream of consciousness rambling, then go, "Y'know what I mean?" and I always shout at the TV, "No! I never know what you mean!"), but I do love how attached he seems to get to his team members. He clearly adores her.

Blah. Why are boring ol' Ray and James still around, but interesting and cool Kat and Austin are outta there? I don't get it.

Ray is such a non-entity to me that every week, I'm like, "Wait, who is that guy?" Why is he still around? I didn't think Austin did so well this week (the song choice sucked, IMO -- I love that song, but it wasn't suited to his voice and I think that's what did him in), so I wasn't surprised that he didn't survive. As for Kat, I love her and I love how different she is from the rest -- although I think this week, her performance was too focused on the choreography/staging and not on the singing and I think that was the nail in the coffin. Just sing, Kat! Your voice rocks. Hubby loves her too but his take on it was, "People vote for the bland pop stars. She probably scares people," so I really didn't expect her to win, but a girl can dream.
I do love James though. However, he reminds me a ton of a friend of mine, so maybe that's why I'm so fond if him.

Is Ray one of the bearded guys or one of the dorky-looking guys? I tend to listen to each contestant for a few seconds and then FF if I don't like what I hear. There are too many 'guys with guitars' this season. They're all equally talented and appealing and tend to cancel each other out.
Jacquie (?) was my fave until she tried to sing softly. She really sucks at that. It's a product of her youth and something she needs to work on if she wants to be half the singer her coach is. If I didn't think Christina genuinely likes this girl, I'd be thinking she purposely tried to sabotage her with that song choice. All it did was expose her shortcomings.
Tessanne is by far the best IMO. But I don't know where she'd fit within the music business.
