Bklynred, from what I've read, in November he started showing some signs of consciousness, but I imagine his body couldn't handle the damage it sustained. Apparently, after the avalanche (or in the midst) he suffered a 50-minute long heart attack. It was extremely unlikely he would ever recover. It's so sad.

I think it is safe to say that Frisco died last year, his body held on but the man was gone. RIP to the most intelligent royal of his age.
