The commercial for Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is not scary, I guess they are aiming for a gotcha like in The Grudge, but it mostly reminds me of those emails from a decade ago where there's a loud, surprise fart at the end. The only way I'll see this movie in the theater is if there's a loud, surprise fart at the end. Katie has been looking better the last couple days, but also a smidge waxen. I think it might be some weight loss. |

I'll give them props for casting, though. I happened to glance at the TV during a commercial and knew exactly what movie they were advertising, because the little girl crawling under the sheets looked just like Katie Holmes. |

I've been pleasantly surprised by some of the guest judges. I have a feeling that I'll be underwhelmed by Katie's commentary tonight. "that was awesome. You are totally awesome".
