I would propose a drinking game where we take a drink every time she says "amazing" or "magical" but I don't want any Greecies to get alcohol poisoning.
ETA: I've just seen the first two dances, and Katie managed to get an "Amazing" in both. Make that four for four, plus two "magical" mentions. It's really good then that no one is drinking.
Also? Katie is a damn weirdo. Tom at least knows how to turn the charm on and he can seem somewhat normal when he's not on a manic clam bender like he was in the couch-jumping days. Katie just seems really, really weird.

I just want to say, Spindarella, that I love that Jamie Foxx quote!

Man, she was completely useless as a judge on "So You Think You Can Dance."
Nearly all of her "critiques" (you can't really call them that) included her favorite buzzwords "Amazing" and "Magical" and "Strong." And her comments were all really insightful things like "You look pretty!" and "I loved the part where you jumped" and "I love your outfits!"
And for someone who supposedly loves dance and fancies herself a dancer with her own little dance-based charity, she showed that she doesn't know jack shit about dance. Her comments showed that she has no clue about the technical aspects of it.
And as I said before, she's just really, really weird. I think the clams just sucked her brains right out of her head and they are now sitting in some filing cabinet in the Celebrity Centre collecting dust bunnies.
Someone over at TWOP put it best when they said "Poor zombified Katie - trying so hard to fit in with the humans."

I liked that she would look down at her notes will giving her comments, leading to such specificity as "the jump." I wasn't expecting much, but she was even worse than I expected.

Wait, why does Suri's sign read, "We love you, Katie!"? Does that seem weird? Maybe I'm overthinking this, but shouldn't it say "We love you Mommy!" or something? I mean, sure, it could have been Tammy's sign, but given that they planned to make such a big deal about Suri being there, you know it was meant to be her sign to begin with...I don't know. I feel weird thinking this much about it.

So, the rules are no food in the auditorium, but Suri is allowed to munch on a giant cookie? I took my 4 year old to see a play (daytime, Cinderella) and explained to her that this was not a movie, no popcorn. She was fine with that. I do not see how it is possible that Suri is not a nightmare. She's being brought up thinking rules don't apply to her. Sure, maybe they discipline her at home, but in public they don't seem to expect her to follow rules like other people. I don't know if this is a Scientology thing, crappy parenting thing, or a crappy PR thing, but any way you look at it, I'd hate to have to babysit this kid.
I really wish some mainstream publication would call them out on this. If they thought they were getting bad PR, maybe they'd be forced to parent Suri. Sad that that's what I think it would take.
