I absolutely love the Grindhouse movie that Tarantino and Rodriguez made, especially Planet Terror. It is ridiculous, cheesy, over the top, and fun. Death Proof is a fun movie too and I'll watch it whenever I catch it on TV; but Planet Terror is just made of win.

Last night I wanted to watch a comedy, so I put on ANCHORMAN since I'd never seen it. After 30 minutes and not laughing once, I turned it off. That movie is severely overrated.

That's how I feel about Old School. All my friends loved it and I was like... so where's the funny part?
A related confession: my favorite Will Ferrell dumb comedy is probably Blades of Glory. Capture the Dream!!!!

Anchorman is my 17-year-old daughter's favorite movie. When I watched it, I was like "Heh. Cute." I definitely wasn't busting a gut.

Yeah, not a fan of the Will Ferrell Repertory Company. (I am going to have to see that new telenovela one, though -- it looks pretty funny.)

The only part of Anchorman I like is the 5-way news team rumble and the little bit afterwards in Ron's office. Steve Carell totally owns that part.

To me, Anchorman is a series of quick bits that don't hang together that great as a movie but are hilarious separately.

I have two opinions that have proven to be unbelievably unpopular in real life: Hunger Games looks stupid, and I'm not excited about The Avengers because the only character movie I liked was the first Hulk.
