I sped through these and cracked up the whole time. I want to be Lana! I don't know the guy who
voices Archer but the voice & facial expressions are hilarious. Pam & Cheryl (?) sometimes grate but the rest of them... Archer's mom is freakin' perfect. Finally, I understand the 'just the tip' jokes!

I love Lana too (obviously ). Jon Benjamin does the voice of Archer. He also does the voice of Bob on Bob's Burgers. It is funny, he tries to make them sound different but when I watched an episode of Bob's Burgers all I heard was Archer. He also had his own live action show- Jon Benjamin has a van which was really weird but occasionally funny. He looks nothing like Archer, sadly.

Were those pirate episodes just a one off? When does the new season really start?

Yeah, I can't watch Jon Benjamin's live-action show because I can't reconcile his appearance with my crush on Archer.

So, toward the end of S2, F/X added 3 episodes to the S3 order (so it'll be 16 episodes rather than 13), so that the Pirate Trilogy/Archer Semi-Movie just aired - they wanted to build off the Sunny audience - the rest of the season begins in January.

Aw, I thought there were more eps coming now. That sucks. I knew Benjamin was voicing Archer but am not familiar with the comedian except for the van thing.

It's not as side-splittingly hilarious as Archer, but might I recommend The League, which has its S3 premiere in the post-Sunny spot tonight? Despite not giving a darn about football, fantasy or otherwise, and not really caring for Apatow douchey dudebro humor that much, I find it really amusing.

Alternatively, you could use the wait until January to catch up with Louie, which is twelve kinds of weird and brilliant.

FX's site has new e-cards, with upcoming quotes from Season 3.

It's a testament to how well-written and well-voice-acted this show is that I literally started choking with laughter when I heard some of the imagined deliveries in my head, sans context.

I love how the jokes come fast and furious. Some jokes you don't get until the 3rd time you see it. Love it!
