I don't mind Sean. I liked that he wasn't bowled over by Alex, like Thom was. He does have a stick up his butt, but it's a cute butt.

I've been enjoying these episodes, but I doubt the show will get a 3rd season. Its ratings aren't as good as Smallville. I'm hoping for a move to Wednesday in H8R's spot, but CW probably won't do that.

I think that any of the CW's current shows though probably wouldn't be doing much better than Nikita on Friday nights - except for The Vampire Diaries, maybe - so that probably has to count for something. On the other hand, Nikita probably costs a lot more to produce since it's more in the slick action genre, so you need to incorporate all the stuntwork, car chases, pyrotechnics, etc.

I too was hoping that it'd be moved into H8ter's spot, but the CW ended up giving that over to Ringer reruns. Guess they really want their SMG show to succeed.

Still really like this show. I find Sean disturbingly hot in his stiffness (and he's tall and sturdy...*drools*.) I think that he and Alex will be the great kind of sparky together. Can't wait to see who falls for who in that honey trap.

I'm interested in seeing how the Sean/Alex relationship progresses. I can't imagine Alex being too pleased if she finds out that Sean wants to hurt Nikita, and you know she will find out eventually.

This last episode was great, I can't believe what a 180 I've done on Birkhoff this season.

I love that Alberta Watson is in this as Senator Madeline Whatever.
I adored her in the 1997-2001 version on USA and I still watch the DVDs.
Madeline was a badass.

I have been blown away by how great this season has been. There hasn't been one episode where I have felt it was lacking. Maggie was amazing in last Friday's episode. Her breakdown was such a long time coming. This show better not get canceled!

What about London Falling? I thought that that ep was pretty meh, especially compared to the preceding ep (Clawback) and this one. But at least it gave us that hilarious scene with Sean awkwardly trying to come on to Alex. Boy's got no game at all.

This year has been pretty terrific. My only complaint is the Max/Cassandra storyline. Contrived. Michael and Nikita have plenty of issues which could have produced enough angst to "break" them up for a few eps.

Amanda is freaking psychotic. She more than lived up to her reputation last ep. I was visibly cringing when she inserted the probe in Birkhoff's nose. Yeesh!

Yeah, Michael can't have that life, so I don't know how long this will last. Well, I guess he will come home when he endangers his son by being near him. That's bound to pop up soon.

As for Sean not having game, that's why I love him. He's all sorts of pent up energy just waiting to explode in the best way possible. He turns me into Blanche Deveraux when he's on screen. Heh. I found it interesting that Alex kissed Sean's hand instead of his lips. I'm thinking that she finds him kind of hot so she went for the hand route as a way to avoid entanglement. Smart girl.

Amanda is indeed a psycho. She looked like she was getting off on torturing poor Berkhoff. Ick.

Reviving this thread to rant a bit about the CW promotion. Or should I say lack of promotion. I had no idea the show was coming back last Friday. The CW didn't promote it at all. I only knew because of the fan boards.

This show is great. It's having its sophomore struggles, but it's still good. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to promote the hell out of One Tree Hill in its final, abbreviated season and to leave this show dangling in the wings. Kia must be pissed to see their investment going down the drain.

I'm over Alex and her family issues. The emphasis on her last season was a huge turnoff. The show is Nikita. Not Nikita & Alex. They wasted a perfectly good ep to reunite her with Nikita, to have Nikita save her ass because Alex is once again too naive, too green, too emotional. Yeah...we get it.

Must admit I really enjoyed the Percy/Ryan scenes. I usually don't care for Ryan, but he did great dissecting Percy's motives for taking down Division.

Also, bonus points for putting Owen & Michael together. Their banter and combo-fighting was great. They are a good team.

No Nikita & Michael interaction is a major fail. Not counting the phone call at the end. This separation is getting old.
