Great call on Michael being killed off. He's starting to become sort of tangential lately. Plus, maybe this will make room for Owen? I like him. I think they were hinting at a vibe between him and Nikita last time he was in an ep.
I feel like the show has gotten sort of rote lately. I think ti's b/c I mostly find the Alex character sort of boring. I like the relationship between Alex and Nikita, but otherwise Alex is sort of a whiny beeotch. She doesn't convey the intensity and strength of Nikita, which makes me feel like her desire for revenge is a little snoozy. Maybe she's just not as good an actress.

I think it would be awesome if Amanda was somehow linked to Alex by family. I love this show. The thought that it won't survive this season makes me so sad. And I don't want Michael to die, I like him!

The cast members have been announced as spotlight guests at C2E2, which is (apparently) a large Chicaco convention. I'm not familiar with the con at all, but if it's a con that runs through official channels (as opposed to cons that are held by fans), then I have to think that that spells good news for Nikita. Why bother promoting a show that you're going to cancel, right? Or is this just unfounded optimism? I think it's because she had her heart set on installing Alex as the head of Zetrov, where she would then have been Amanda's puppet.

Hmm...not sure about the Con. The Nikita forum over at Fanforum has been rather quiet. Some in the know are saying Craig would indicate if the show wasn't coming back and he hasn't. I hope they get a 3rd season because Craig has mapped out the show for 3 seasons. That means there's more story to tell that won't be rushed or truncated by an unexpected cancellation.

Glad to see stupid Carla go. Too bad Berkhoff had to do it. And I feel bad for Nikita, but I’m glad she’s standing by Berkhoff. Maggie Q did some fine actressin’ in this episode.
Nikita’s pole job with the guardian was shocking. All the gun play on this show doesn’t make me flinch, but that? Wow.
Cool last frame, but some of the direction is getting a little obvious on this show. How many times did we have to see Sean look at the computer? I got it the first time. Yeesh. Speaking of Sean, he is even hotter when he smiles, but he needs to be shirtless again. And throw the poor guy a bone! Give him Alex! He obviously wants her, and if he’s one of the ones to croak at the end of the season at least he’ll go with some happiness. On that note, I hope he doesn’t die. I enjoy the eye candy.
I like Ari and hope he’s not one of the dead at the end of this season either. I was trying to think of which villains I’d like to see go, and I want Amanda, Ari and Percy around. Semak can go die now; I’m sick of hearing about him, and I actually like Alex’s back story so that’s saying something. I would say the same for Cassandra except that would leave Max motherless.
I know that this show has too many characters on it right now, but it’s hard for me to say which major ones should die. As far as I can tell, the only truly safe one is Nikita – everyone else is just in her orbit. I like Michael, but his departure wouldn’t kill the show, and Owen could conceivably replace him. Berkhoff can possibly be replaced by Sonja now. Alex may go away quietly with her mom after killing Semak. Sean wouldn’t need to be around if Alex or his mother isn’t. Not all of the villains can die, since Nikita has to fight someone, and I’d say that Percy is her number one nemesis, so maybe he’s safe. Then there’s Ryan…lots of potential deaths. Yikes.
Hope this show gets renewed!

Maggie did knock it out of the park last night. I was tired of Carla, so I'm not shedding any tears for her death. I hate Birkoff had to do it, but I loved the last scene with him & Nikita. Very nice. She loves her nerd. Bored with Alex. Agree with you about Sean & the computer. The B storyline annoyed me to no end. The sole purpose was to find the computer to discover Cassandra is a triple agent. Yawn. Only redeeming part was Sean's return. Dude is hot & Dylan is a hoot on Twitter. I still think Michael is gone next season. They've marginalized him a lot. He'll head off into the sunset with his son. Owen will return, but it'll mostly be Nikita on her own. Alex needs to go off with her mother. Sean will either die or return to the Seals. If Birkhoff survives, Sonja dies. If Birkhoff dies, Sonja will escape Division and join Nikita's team. Deaths: Roan, Ryan ETA: Spoilery article about Owen[/color]

B-bye, Belarus Barbie (heh.) Best decision for the child by far. So we've got Michael's kid out of the way for now, and Alex seems entrenched in the fight against Amanda. Guess neither of them are going away voluntarily. Anyone else think that Alex's mom is not so innocent? Semak said that he took Zetrov to impress her, so it's made me wonder. Maybe she was in on her husband's murder, but lost it when she thought they had killed her child too. I just hope that Sean doesn't end up dead in Corfu. I don't know if I'm just hormonal or what, but Fonseca (who I normally like) seemed a little off this episode. She was good in scenes with her mom (or directly about her like the TV interview scene), but otherwise, her lines were kind of flat. I don't know if it's over-direction or what, but her scenes in general seemed too rehearsed (especially with Casey, who I think is doing a pretty good job.) Contrast that with Maggie Q who did the best job with the scene where she tells Michael that she doesn't want to be a mother. "Uh, I don't know...because it's Friday and my life is insane?!" That was brilliant. Looking forward to next week! Can Sean be running around in swim trunks in Corfu while protecting Alex's mom? Why yes, I do have a one-track mind.

I don't think you are hormonal. This is how I see Alex in most episodes. I don't think Lyndsy has the chops to pull off badass, vulnerable and smartass with the same gravitas & believability that Maggie is able to do.
I like Sean. I love his scenes with his mother. I buy that relationship. I still don't buy any romantic feelings between Sean & Alex. I wish they'd stop if that's their intent.
Bye bye Max! We hardly knew you. I'm pleasantly surprised by the resolution of this unnecessary storyline. I really thought they would ship Michael off with his new family. I really thought he was a goner. I am also thrilled he and Nikita finally talked. Lord it's been months since they even touched affectionately.
