I've been ignoring every teaser & behind the scenes look (and ONTD seems to have a new one every day). I want to come into this season good & fresh. I can't wait!

I haaate clowns, but I watched it. The music seemed really loud and drowned out the dialogue in several scenes.

Clowns don't really scare me but what did creep me out was the home made porn that Elsa was showing the candy striper with the girl in it.Looks like a great season. Jessica and Sarah were in top form as always.

I don't think I'm going to watch this season. The theme/setting just really doesn't appeal to me.

That premier was seriously off-putting. It was weird, for weird's sake. I have a litany of complaints not limited to:
Bad CGI on the twins' heads and Jessica Lange's stumps. Kathy Bates accent. The lack of coherent plot. It meandered. A lot. The music was distracting. The cameraman seemed drunk.
The should have rolled this one out a little more slowly.
Don't know what it says about me, but I found the creepy, killer clown the most interesting part of the show. More Twisty, less everything else.
With all the issues I had with Coven, it's looking like a masterpiece compared to what I watched last night.

I really enjoyed it. I don't see how anyone in that world wouldn't be immediately suspect of such a creepy looking clown, but back in the day they looked more gruesome, I think. I also live tweeted, which added its own entertainment.

The scenery was well-chewed last night. I didn't know a couple of AA winners could be so OTT, as if they were trying to outdo each other. But, that said, I'm in for a few more episodes. I seem to start each season and never see it through, except season 1, so I don't know if or when I'll lose interest, but so far, this one seems especially deviant and sick. A nice companion piece to Sons of Anarchy's extremely murdery final season.
I'm curious to know what the creepy clown's story is all about. It seems Elsa knows about him and his activities. What happened to Elsa's legs? From the war or something else? I found it interesting how they would shoot Sarah Paulson sometimes, focused on just one head with a wide shot of whatever was in the background to the left or right of her. Artistic choice or saving on the CGI budget?

What was that supposed to be?
I'm meh on the premiere. I've watched every season, so I'm sure I'll watch this one, but...yeah, meh.

What the fuck was that?? It sounded like a mix of southern Pennsylvania, northern Florida and Demi Moore's accent from The Butcher's Wife. I didn't watch Coven, but I'm all in for Freak Show.

I loved it. I noticed Kathy Bates' accent, but shit like that doesn't bother me. I heard it once and I thought, "that's a strange accent," and then I kept watching. That was one of the most fucked up things I've ever seen on TV. I hated Coven and loved this.
