And it's weird too, I read or heard an interview with another actor from that movie and he basically explained that NoES was not the kind of movie he wants to do but the experience was good, the other actors were good and you have to still try and not be a dick about it. So stop being a dick Rooney

The comments section for responses to the cover story at EW online has been disabled. I suspect it's because they knew they'd be inundated with negative comments about her attitude which makes her seem incredibly entitled and stuck-up.

Christ on a cracker. So she gave an intentionally bad audition yet due to her innately phenomenal talent, she was still better than every single other actress who audtitioned? I can't take her any more.

Entitled, indeed. But I wonder how much is Fincher's fault and how much of that baggage did she start with? Maybe she was told since birth how much of a speeshul snowflake she was?

I have a viscerally negative reaction to her name. Rooney Mara just sounds terrible to me. Rooney. I wouldn't name a dog Rooney. Maybe a hamster, though.
