Or maybe they'll go in the complete opposite direction and choose very generic, common names. Just to be contrary, lol. After I read your post, the name Steve popped into my head and I kind of love Steve Phoenix. |

I always think Rooney Mara should be named Mara Rooney. Looks like her first name is Patricia and she goes by her middle name, which is a family name.
It's just weird to say. Rooney rhymes with Looney and I don't know if elementary school kids know what Looney means, but I can imagine if they did she might have been called that in school.
Maybe they will name their kid Patrick. That's a good name.

I believe she was known as Patty growing up. Plain Patty Mara with mousy brown hair.
I think she's one of those celebrities who decided to go 100% with the stage name and the new persona to go with it, but I bet her parents still call her Patty.

That seems like way too much baggage to put on a baby. At the very least, I hope they call him River Mara-Phoenix so he's not just plain "River Phoenix".
I think one of Joaquin's sisters gave her son the first or middle name "Rio", which was River's nickname. That was a good way of honoring River while allowing the baby to be an individual.

Was watching an old episode of Law and Order SVU and was surprised to see Rooney Mara show up. I legit didn't recognize her. She definitely had a few tweaks and she lost quite a bit of weight in between that show and her big time acting career. |
