I saw it at TIFF! And she came to the public screening for a Q&A which is very, very rare. She explained that she and the writer/director have been friends for many years so she was thrilled to be able to support him in his first full length feature film. Apparently she's also great friends with the actress who plays her sister in the movie.
The movie runs around 3 hours but honestly didnt feel that long. We saw "her" first which told the story from Eleanor's perspective and then "him" whereas at the premiere the parts were reversed. She & James were so lovely together on screen. Some of the movies I saw at TIFF were very intense and dramatic but this just quietly unfolds but it doesn't feel long. I don't know how you'd be able to chop it up or market it as two movies so hopefully they keep in intact! It was interesting to see how the leads sometimes saw the same situation slightly differently.

I like her. She comes across as confident and funny and really seems to enjoy her success and even the fame part of it.
