I'm with Jessica on this one! My last three flights with Jet Blue had issues with in flight entertainment. It was fine, they were short ish flights and I could read, but let me tell you I was in a semi rage about it because tickets are so expensive, the food is crap, and seems like it's the least they can offer.

It looks like this is not unusual on Jet Blue. I think her calling it out is fine.

I mean, I'm just kind of impressed she is flying commercial which suuuuuuuucks and I only do it when absolutely necessary.*
*(As in fly, rather than drive. I don't have the means/access to private jets.)

Same. If you are paying $1500 for a flight, it's completely reasonable to expect good service, including functioning technology, whether you are a regular person or an Oscar winner. Jessica has a larger platform than most JetBlue travelers, so it gets more attention when she complains. Most of the time you can't get an airline to do anything to compensate or credit you for a bad experience until you call them out on social media.

I used to fly a lot for work. I still do travel, although not as much, and I've just completely stopped relying on plane entertainment. I download stuff to my phone. (also, I don't want to carry a pair of corded headphones with me.)

I flew Jet Blue last weekend, and the entertainment system was out for some customers. They rebooted. Then it was out for other customers. Half the plane was pissed. (They offered a free "box" of food as compensation.) Our flights, after all in for picking seats and paying for luggage, were $600 apiece.... for economy. Sigh.
Team Chastain.
