I went through the thread alphabetically, and her name wasn't with the other Jessicas, which surprised me because of the great year that she's been having.

Now she's been chosen to play Princess Diana.

Interesting choice. I think she's a bit overexposed this year, but I'm glad that it's for the right reasons.

I liked Jessica Chastain in The Help.

But a Princess Diana movie? And one that casts her in an unflattering light? Oh lordy, is that going to cause a shitstorm over here. I can see the multiple Daily Mail headlines already.

I swear she's in everything this year, she was even on some obscure movie I stumbled on HBO the other day. She's been good in everything I've seen her in especially The Help.

Has she done a British accent before? I hope she has a good one in her arsenal. I don't quibble over regional distinctions when a British actor plays a U.S. character or vice versa but when the accent does not come off at all, it takes me right out of the film/tv show.

Interesting, I hadn't heard that! I loved her in The Help - thought she was great. I haven't seen her in anything else, but this reminds me to seek her out!
