This dress looks like a figure skating costume gone horribly, horribly wrong. JC is too beautiful to wear these horrible dresses. She looked so stunning in Cannes, and now this? Ugh.

It looks like she went out in her slip and forgot to put her dress on. It's horribly unflattering. Too tight. Her breasts look all squished and misshapen. Giant fail from her stylist.

Yikes. She is so beautiful, but she needs to go with more classic styling and some colours that complement her skin. Just watched Tree of Life, and would LOVE to see her in some green. (She wore a green dress in the movie that made her look so ethereally beautiful).

Oh no. Terrible case of when bad dresses happen to good people. That's almost on Fishstick's level of embarrassing dresses. Except, JC doesn't look as smug.

I really like Jessica Chastain, and like the range of projects she's in. We just watched her in "Lawless", where she was fantastic in a limited role.

However, while reading about something else I discovered there's a conspiracy theory that Chastain is actually Ron Howard's illegitimate daughter. The proof is that she looks insanely like him, went by the last name Howard until she began acting, and is super secretive about her age.

I think it sounds pretty far fetched, but amusingly MrL actually thought she and Bryce Dallas Howard were the same person until I brought up this topic of conversation.

Well, I did have a really hard time remembering who was who between the two of them in The Help. I wasn't expecting that.

But I don't know about the conspiracy theories. She might have changed her last name BECAUSE she looks a lot like Bryce Dallas Howard and didn't want there to be more confusion than necessary. They do look a lot alike. I have never heard those rumors, but I have heard that she is lying about her age, Catherin Zeta Jones style.

I remember seeing that conspiracy theory on Crazy Days and Nights. Anything originating with Entertainment Lawyer is immediately suspect, IMO. I think the Ron/Bryce Dallas Howard stuff is just coincidence.

This sounds like the kind of rumor that could have gained traction just because of the resemblance but you never know. Does anyone know her true age? Usually, actors are outed by people they went to school with.
