Thank you, Dallas, for reviving the time honored tradition of shipper wars. I spent way too much time reading the John Ross/Elena and John Ross/Pamela Rebecca threads on Fanforum. After Monday's episodes, you'd think there wouldn't be any doubt about John Ross' feelings, but...apparently there are (if you squint real hard and tilt your head to the left a bit). Oh, so much fun.
Still bored by Emma. I know she's supposed to be Lucy 2.0, but...I'm just not feeling it.
Christopher & Elena are so snooze-worthy. I know it's because neither actors can act their way out of a paper bag.
I cannot wait to find out who killed JR. I thought it might be Cliff, but he'd slip & let us know the truth by now. I'm beginning to think it might have been crazy Mama Ryland. Judith Ivey would rock the crap out of that scene.

Ooh, mama Ryland is a good guess for shooting JR. And as far as shipping John Ross goes, Elena who? He's found his equal in Pamela Rebecca. Add in hot sex, the forbidden nature of the relationship, and him feeling like he's helping/saving her, and Elena is a distant, boring memory.

Well damn. I am literally in shock at all the twist/turns/backstabbings/everything that went on tonight. I cannot believe who killed JR. I mean I can, but damn. Way to ramp up interest in the show for next season.

That scene at the grave was all Patrick Duffy. No acting on his part. I think it finally hit him in that moment that Larry was truly gone.
Very mad at you, John Ross! I hope Pamela roasts your nuts over an open flame.

Finally saw the season finale. Wow! Love all the twists and turns that this has taken, and John Ross is one magnificent scoundrel. So glad to have this kind of show back on my TV. One thing I noticed about this version of the show is that the women are bringing it in the evil scheme department this time around. Before, they were largely delicate, disturbed flowers with revenge on their minds as an afterthought. Now we've got some damn good plotting and greed in the ladies, and I love it!
The producers have good choice in music for this show. I loved the song (The Mavericks' Come Unto Me) in the final scenes for this episode, and last year's season finale had great music too. Hope the show gets renewed and that we don't have to wait until January 2014 for it. I want more scheming Ewings!
