I really hate Moriarty, so I hope he isn't back.
Also bus lady is creepy.

Yeah, I've always hated Moriarty as well. He served his purpose, but I never found the scenery chewing of the actor compelling and turning everything in the first two seasons into his scheme was the ultimate plothole.
They should probably wrap the series and come back for occasional TV specials, that would serve everyone better. The ratings are still very strong, though.

That was dull. I would have rather watched them solve any of the mysteries in Sherlock's twitter feed (if that's what that was) than the one they did. The problem I have is that I can barely remember anything about Mary or her previous life, and I'm not interested enough in that story arc to go back and watch those episodes. So to have yet another show about her and her past? No thank you. And don't even get me started on John!!
Oh, I also hate that there's a baby now. I find babies too distracting for me, I'm constantly thinking "who's taking care of the baby? How can he do that, he has a baby!" I absolutely DESPISE it in Walking Dead, and dislike it intensely in Sherlock. With her history, and his job, why would they think a baby makes sense?

All the stuff with the son's body in the car was great (clever but also genuinely moving), the Thatcher statues was pretty good, but as soon as it turned into being all about Mary it started going downhill and just kept on going (no shade to Amanda Abington who is fab).
The aquarium! Why? How did they all get in after hours? And why have Mary and Watson there? Why meet anywhere, why not have police/Mycroft's security people pick her up and then Sherlock can chat all he wants in an interrogation cell.
Bus woman is played by Cumberbatch's Ophelia, and her voice came in for loads of criticism during Hamlet too.

I also liked the mystery with the son and car. I especially liked that he just died- no complex murder.
The pacing and the tone felt really uneven. Did we really need to see every stop on Mary's world tour? I know I didn't.
Did it feel like Sherlock was working on a catchphrase with "game", "game face", etc?
It felt more like they wanted to do something surprising with John and didn't think too much about it. It felt so out of character and not set up properly. Maybe they were writing to give a separating Martin and Amanda some space?
Finally, I also hope that Molly gets back to work. She's always been shown to be a competent pathologist and it sucks to see her reduced a babysitter (I believe her only scenes were baby related.)

ARE Martin & Amanda separating??? They apparently already did before filming this season. They blamed their busy schedules and work always keeping them apart. Rumor has it Martin was cheating on her all over the place (no idea how accurate that is).

Ah, well. I thought something seemed off between them, but I couldn't place it.
Granted I'm hopped up on cold meds, but the only plot line that I had trouble with was the kid in the car over several days. Didn't anybody notice the smell?! Cars are not airtight things. Even if they were all nose-blind, nobody thought the driver's seat was oddly lumpy? Besides, if he wanted to jump out and yell surprise, why didn't he just duck below the dash? He just happened to have the vinyl suit from last Halloween when he dressed up as Bucket Seat Man?

I watched about 10-15 minutes of tonight's episode, and then I turned it off and deleted the series recording on my dvr.
