Not every episode can be great. But I really appreciate "Sherlock". It was one of the few shows that I loved. Great show, cultural phenomenon and a touchstone series. I hope we have more, but if we don't I appreciate everyone one who made this show one of the few highlights in recent television history. I've no doubt it inspired many others and will continue to do so. I miss it already.

A Christmas episode every now and then with a self contained story would be nice if we can't get a new season.

Yeah, they lost me when they made Euros into this all powerful being that can talk people into killing their families and control an entire asylum after just one conversation. Ugh. It all borders too much on the supernatural.

One of my coworkers is obsessed with those "puzzle rooms" that are trendy right now. This episode reminded me of those. A little girl is on a plane and going to crash and die unless you can solve this mystery! Figure out this clue and move to the next room, ok here are some more clues, time is running out! And on and on.
We'll always have season one. It was brilliant and genuinely clever.

I am also obsessed with those rooms! And you're right, it totally was like one of them. But not as exciting as being in one yourself.

I'm halfway through the last episode. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
eta: And now that I've watched the whole thing, yes it sure does feel like a series finale.

One thing I loved in that last ep was that Mycroft's umbrella was also a sword that became a handgun.
I've seen a lot of fanfic that mentioned his umbrella being so much more than an umbrella, so I was really pleased with that bit.

*sniff* John Steed never needed his umbrella to be any more than an umbrella. *sniff*

Is there some way I can stream this now? Not for free. You can watch all episodes on PBS website or app but you have to become a member. You can watch Seasons 1-3 on Netflix.
