I'm a makeup moron who needs all the help she can get, and I agree with the lip liner trick - it helps the lipstick stay and it helps you color within the lines.

Thanks. The color is a smashbox liquid. I'll try all the tips!

Does anyone have a recommend for a good volumizing mascara that doesn’t smudge? To give an example of what I’m looking for - I tried Fenty Beauty’s mascara and love how it looks, but it smudges under my eyes. I don’t even wear mascara on my lower lashes - the smudging happens just from blinking. Same thing with the mascara from Kosas. Love the way it looks, but smudges all over the place. So I’m looking for a mascara that gives you those big full lashes, like the ones in the links (those mascaras really are truth in advertising as far as how they made my lashes look), and I need a full “teddy bear” brush applicator - those ones with few bristles/teeth that are more like combs just give me spider lashes and I hate it. Anyone know of anything good along those lines that doesn’t smudge?

I've been using this, too, and like it a lot. No smudging and I'm pleased with the volume I get.

I really like all the Urban Decay mascaras I have tried (they keep discontinuing individuals ones but as far as I can tell their formulation stays the same, only the names/packaging change). I don't find that they smudge and they definitely give me really dramatic eyelashes.

Can anyone recommend a home laser or IPL hair removal device? I'm seeing lots of ads with discount codes from influencers on Kenzzi, but the non-sponsored reviews are decidedly mixed. Other devices are out there but they're more expensive. I'm willing to pay more for a device that's effective. Because of the pandemic, I'm not interested in going to a professional spa or clinic.

I haven’t worn makeup in months. While I do get flare ups, my skin is much clearer. But I do kinda miss eyeshadow and mascara. But when I go out I’m wearing a mask and I have feeling wearing a mask over foundation isn’t a good idea. So, be honest with me Greecies. How insane would I look if I wore eyeshadow/eyeliner, mascara, and blush? 1 being “Not insane at all!” and 10 being “Are you drunk?” Nope. I started experimenting with putting highlighter on my eyes this week. If I were still wearing the surgical masks, I would seriously consider getting one of these brackets. It's like a bustle for your mask. Since it supposedly prevents the mask from sticking to your face, you should be able to wear lipstick underneath without messing it up. I miss wearing lip color most of all.

I miss wearing lip color most of all. I do, too! I always felt like a good lip was like a good throw over a sofa, re it 'completes' the look.

I've tried a few and tbh none have ever worked. I think you need the industrial level of the professional ones to truly get an effect.
