Personally, I feel he's more of a two-face. He has looked good in some pictures, but his default is "not quite attractive".

He looks like he doesn't know how to drive. Shouldn't he have his learner's permit?

I think she's ridiculous but also quite beautiful. She's actually gotten more beautiful with age, but she's fuckin' crazy! I call it the "Halle Berry" affect.

I always feel like I'm taking crazy pills when people start talking about how beautiful J-Lo is, I just don't see it. Maybe it's because I remember what she looked like on In Living Color. I will say that she does look good for her age, and she is not by any means ugly. I think she is average. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder, because there is nothing beautiful or memorable about her to me.

Great grooming did wonders for her but she is no natural beauty in my opinion. She looks good for her age but I would add(at the risk of angering Ashley Judd ) that she ought to, considering how muich effort, time and money she puts into her looks. I do think she has major swag/confidence which helps in perception of beauty.

Any average looking woman with access to the resources she has can look fabulous. On a side note I really don't get all the "she looks good for her age" comments as if your suppose to look run down at this stage of life. I'll be 47 this year and still get carded sometimes when trying to buy alcohol. I've never had plastic surgery, botox or fillers and the same goes for most of my 40ish friends. I'm curious as to what people who make these comments think 40ish is suppose to look like.

I would agree with your last statement as well babyann as it relates to myself, most of my friends and family. However, looking at her mom, I really didn't think she would age well. I saw some unphotoshopped pics from a L'oreal shoot and there was a bit more lines and drooping then is normally seen.
I've been trying to find a way to say this delicately but I think the truth of the matter for a majority of women a lot of their younger living does catch up with them in their forties. The drinking, smoking, sunbathing, etc can take a toll. I see it in my office. I was surprised that a quite a few of my co-workers were my age (almost 35) but I look like their kid sister( that's not a modest brag, I promise).Of course if you're someone that paid a little extra attention to for caring for yourself in your youth or have other factors that can increase the chances of a more youthful appearance then she's nothing special. Of course modern science is helping a lot of women in Hollywood.

I'm curious as to what people who make these comments think 40ish is suppose to look like. Thanks for this comment. I am 46 years old and was asked a few weeks ago by a nurse if I was a student. In 1998 when I was about 34, I was carded at a dance club. Ironically, I was the oldest person in my group that included two girls who were 18 and a guy who was in his late 20s. I was the only one who got carded. I have absolutely no wrinkles, no gray hairs and no sagging skin anywhere. The only thing that has changed significantly since I was in my 20s is that I have to work harder at the gym to keep the weight off. And, I have never had botox, injections of any kind or a facelift. Not only could I not afford those things, I would never do those things. I think a lot of people have misconceptions about aging. It is possible to be in one's late 40s (as I am) and have absolutely no wrinkles. Of course, much of it has to do with genes and parents (my mother regularly gets comments from people that she looks 10 or 15 years younger than she is and both of my sisters are in their 40s and also have no wrinkles). So, I would never say that Jlo looks good for her age since at 43 she does not look younger than me at 46, but I do think she is very attractive and incredibly photogenic. Her recent picture on the cover of Vogue is stunning. Yes, I think a lot of it is great grooming and the fact that she has learned from the best since her Fly Girls days when she looked a hot mess with too-red lipstick and awful hair.
