The original reports were that she got $20 million for season 2 of AI. Now I've heard both $12 million (which doesn't seem right as I think that's what she started with) and $15 million. If she's already getting $20 million (or even 15) then I don't think that Britney's salary would impact her decision. Considering that the rating dropped last season, she'd be foolish to ask for a raise.

I think she should definitely leave AI and rely on her talent in upcoming projects to sustain her popularity. Because that will be hilarious!

Does she think she'd be any where near no. 1 on the celebrity list without Idol? I agree though, that she should rely on her amazing 'talent' in the future and see what number she's at next year. I think it's a bad career move to leave now, before she's tried to parlay her new popularity back into her singing and acting.

On a selfish note (being a one time Idol fan), why must the only semi lucid judge leave? Randy and Steven? Jesus.

I wonder why she just simply doesn't stick to acting. That singing career will forever be perplexing to me.

I'm not trained in acting or singing, but as a layperson who has no real knowledge of either, it's much easier for me to tell bad singing from bad acting.

I can't believe she's still with that dancer. And he's not even hot. He's got a decent body, but his face looks Jersey Shore.

It feels creepy to me. When does she even have time to see her kids? Between being in every commercial on television, Idol, music, movies, and boytoy. Yeah OK, maybe that's the point.. kids? What kids? As it is, it looks like she left Mark and the kids for this young fugster. And I know, Mark has been parading his new piece every chance he gets too... people just don't care about him. I hope the kids have really nice nannies.

Oh and his talking voice is the biggest turn-off. I don't see it either.

I also think she would be dumb to leave Idol. Talk about an EASY gig. And it keeps her in the public eye so she can cash in on her endorsements and brands-Kohls, Loreal, perfumes, etc.

And isn't she leaving so she can tour? See, she's not really a touring artist. I like some of her songs (when she sticks to the dance genre), but I can't see paying to see her. She should just stay on Idol and release her dance singles and call it a day.

This is another example of a beautiful celebrity who chooses a man below her status in looks and accomplishments. Add Whitney Houston and other females to the list.

Casper is ugly. Jennifer is surrounded by attractive men in the business who are on equal footing with her in terms of accomplishments. So, I am not sure why she has chosen Casper. I get that he is young and, consequently, better able to control. No doubt, after the controlling ways of her husband who she claimed was not treating her the way she wanted, the attention of a young, more controllable and malleable man who hangs on her every word is compelling. However, he simply is not attractive and is clearly having fun with her money. Given that she is a mother of two, I am just a bit embarassed for her.

I am all for women dating younger men since men do the same, but in this case, I think it is too soon after Marc. She seems vulnerable and always willing to take any guy that comes along that gives her attention. Given that she was hailed as the most beautiful woman in the world by People Magazine, I assumed that she could get a lot of men equal to her in looks and accomplishments. Same with Whitney and other singers. It must be really hard for women in Hollywood.

But that's what she does luthia, jumps from one man to another. She cheated on Joani with Diddy and left him, cheated on Diddy with Criss Judd and left Diddy for him, cheated on Criss wih Ben and left Criss for him. She tried damn hard to get Ben down the altar, but he made sure she left him. One she did, she waited .05 seconds to get involved with Marc while he was still married and then married him 5 days after his divorce was final. Little after she separated with Marc she gets involved with Casper. This woman does not know how to be alone for God's sake!
