Does she not remember that marrying the back up dancer didn't work before and Cris Judd came across as a nice guy. Cheesing Casper will not end well. Oh well.

The dancer guy kind of looks like....Jon Cryer. Strange. After hearing his voice on Youtube, I'm not entirely convinced he's straight. Slightly OT, but I saw a headline a few days ago that said something line "Gaydar is a real thing" but I didn't have a chance ot read it, and when I went back it was gone. |

But that's what she does luthia, jumps from one man to another. She cheated on Joani with Diddy and left him, cheated on Diddy with Criss Judd and left Diddy for him, cheated on Criss wih Ben and left Criss for him. She tried damn hard to get Ben down the altar, but he made sure she left him. One she did, she waited .05 seconds to get involved with Marc while he was still married and then married him 5 days after his divorce was final. Little after she separated with Marc she gets involved with Casper. This woman does not know how to be alone for God's sake! Some people are just like that, different strokes for different folks. Doesn't bother me. Some people are stars because they have talent, some people are stars because they work their asses off, some people are stars because they have both. I think JLo has an internationally known face and is willing to work hard to keep herself relevant. |

Her new film "What To Expect When You're Expecting" was released this weekend and BOMBED at the box office. It made only $10 million.
Jennifer Lopez's film career really seems to be over, so maybe music is her best bet.

The dating around stuff that she does seems to be common to movie stars and other celebrities. None of them stay single for more than 5 minutes. So I don't necessarily find that part strange, at least not for people in her profession. What I do find strange is WHO she dates. The world is her oyster and THAT's WHO she dates? Out of all the 24 year olds you could find, you wind up picking the least desirable one of them all? (okay, maybe that's hypberbole but she could do better that that. I don't see other 42 year olds -- or is she still 33? --- being envious of J-LO's tryst with Casper the Dancer.)

I think it's funny how everyone thought her acting career was her best bet, but not one of her films have reached the $100 million mark domestically. When was the last time she was critically acclaimed? Out of Sight? Seriously I think that's the only film where I hear she had gotten great buzz surrounding her performance.
Her music career on the other hand, is just a joke. Yet there she is, keep trying to make it happen again.

Hmmm. I think Mottola preceded Diddy. Also add in any man who helped her advance her career or gave her a part through the Bennifer era.

Yeah Mottola and her dance instructor, Keenan Ivory Wayans. I remember very specifically Damon alluding to that once for being the reason why she was 3rd place and miraculously making it as a fly girl.

I randomly heard "Love Don't Cost a Thing" on the radio last week for the first time since it was released and it reminded me what a weak singer she was. It was before the trend of processing vocals heavily, and her natural voice is just really thin and weak.

I think some of the less attractive parts of her personality became more apparent when she embarked on the singing career.
When she only had the acting career, I didn't notice all the stuff that would come to define her as a persona later on. I probably even thought she was sort of....well, I wouldn't use the word "charming" to describe her, but I didn't think she was really unlikable. I thought she was a pretty person who would have a decent and lasting career in movies. Even on Idol, she seems nice enough (yeah, I actually think she comes across as nice). It's when the music videos come out that I'm all, "Why are you trying your best to be annoying?"
