Are you a little bitch baby?! I am not a little bitch baby!!! That was hysterically stupid and fun and awesome at the same time. So basically, it was a Scandal scene. This season was much better. Scandal is what it is and when it's what it's supposed to be it's a fun show to watch (did that make sense?)

Anyone watch last night? There were some jaw dropping moments, some WTF moments, but overall I think Olivia has been spending too much time on her career and messy personal life and not enough time watching hostage movies. It was pretty obvious that "Ian" was in on it. Liv totally fell for it though.

We've watched too many episodes of shows like Covert Affairs and Burn Notice to not suspect that guy. But why would he allow real weapons with live ammunition if this was all an exercise? That seemed super reckless.

I knew watching from the moment she was kidnapped who the bad guy was (based on his crazy eyes under that mask. But once she was in the "prison camp", I had the distinct feeling that it was all a set-up to have her think she was in a middle eastern country.
But the fact that he allowed her to kill those handlers was off. Then again, I'm sure they were pretty disposable, but as you both said, they could have easily hurt or killed Olivia. That was just plain stupid.
I'm just curious what this is all about, though. Clearly someone has wronged 'Ian' and that someone was POTUS, IMO.

I don't like how this story has evolved. The auction was too unbelievable. Olivia isn't the President's child. She's his mistress. Are we to believe that terrorists, arms dealers, and other nefarious characters have gossiped with each other about the President's personal life?
The POTUS is totes in love with this woman Olivia Pope and their bond is, like, sooooooo amazing. Like seriously you guys, you can blackmail POTUS and force him to do ANYTHING your black heart desires. It's totally worth a billion dollars to buy her. Like, totally.

I thought her being his mistress was public news though. Eerent they outed- maybe by mellie? That's why I can't believe her fake prison cell mate acted like he didn't know who she was.

My number one thought in this episode was "shut up Joe Morton!" Is it even possible for them to not write multiple page monologues for his character?
I also think this whole storyline has been garbage.

As soon as Papa Pope started his umpteenth monologue, I got up to get a snack. The first time he did this it was amazing but now it's tiresome.
