Anyone watching this new ABC Shonda Rhimes drama?

I like Kerry Washington, who plays Olivia Pope. The whole presidential thing is a bit over the top for me though. I'd rather have seen her and the Joshua Malina character get some bedroom action. They have some lovely chemistry and lots of snappy dialogue.

I like most of the associates but not the investigator who is far too twitchy for me. She needs to dial it down a bit. Also, the new associate just seems to be there so the rest of the characters can explain who and what Pope does with the clients.

It's a bit of a West Wing wannabe for me in some aspects and I guess every episode we'll see them stick stuff up on the windows.

I like Kerry Washington and Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond!), who were my two big draws to this show. That said, I saw the first few episodes, and while I'm mostly positive toward the Olivia Pope character, I find her a shade too abrasive. I hope they tone that down a bit as we learn more about her past and motivations, and she becomes more sympathetic.

I am watching this show as well and I will continue to do so for Kerry, the hot Pres Tony Goldwyn and Desmond. I am not sold on the annoying red head and I was audibly annoyed when the cop let her into the crime scene in the first episode .That is beyond ridiculous. I DVR'd the second episode and will watch it tonight. Oh yeah I also like Josh Malina so here's hoping that there is more of him.

I've heard from people who work at ABC that the show gets really good/hits its stride around episode 5 or 6.

I haven't watched yet but I have the first two episodes on my DVR. And only because of Desmond.

I didn’t even recognize that it was Desmond (with the shorter hair) until TWOP was all Yay, Desmond, squee!

The redhead reminds of Bree from Desperate Housewives, looks-wise. She’s way too antsy to be the calm, organized Bree otherwise.

I hate the treatment of the new girl. Practically force her into the job, yammer on about how they’re gladiators in suits, but whenever she asks a legitimate question, they hustle and bustle around her with the whole "too busy, watch and learn" schtick. How about you tell her what her job is so she can save time and just do it?

I'm not fully on board with this show yet, but I'm sticking with it. The rapid fire dialogue is annoying, but the cast is great and I like seeing the DC shots. If they let go of the "taping stuff to the windows" I'd be happy. I hope it's a success.

Also, it's nice to see Paris Geller on my TV again!

I'm up to episode 4 on Hulu Plus of the 7 episode 1st season and it's been interesting so far.

I've never been a fan of Shonda's past work with Grey's, but I like political-esque shows and I love Kerry Washington and Henry Ian Cusick!

Love it also. I covet pretty much everything Kerry wears on the show.

I'm really curious to see where this cover up with Olivia, Mellie, a Supreme Court Judge and an Oil Tycoon is going. That's quite the group.
