This is still on? I checked out during Olivia's kidnapping, and never looked back. Apparently now she's married to Fitz, but all is still not well? The fact that her father and all things B16 are still even mentioned are baffling to me. Maybe it's Shonda's ego that won't allow her to pull the plug on bad storylines and their poor reception. No one likes Rowan or B16. No. One. That plot has devoured, digested, and pooped on the show.

Also, Shonda can do no wrong at ABC and it seems like most of the entertainment press thinks she walks on water, so I doubt anything's going to change. Also, I read Olivia and Fitz did not get married..... he only divorced Millie, and Millie teamed up with Rowan after Olivia told her he killed her son. I personally am over the Shonda love. Too much over the top drama for me. I think this will be my last year watching HTGAWM, cause it's going off the rails fast...

I'm still watching for Mellie, but I hate all things Olitz and Rowan.

As long as Joe wins awards for playing Rowan, nothing's changing. [snip] and Millie teamed up with Rowan after Olivia told her he killed her son. Neither of those statements make any logical sense. How is Joe Morton's mouth foaming, flailing, over the top performance considered good on any level. I was over it the first time he called Fitz a boy, in that long and scenery chewing scene. Award worthy? Wow. That's shocking and horrifying. And Millie teams up with the man that had her son killed, to get revenge on Fitz and Olivia? Does not compute. I loved Millie, but not enough to get me to watch again.

I enjoy it. I freely admit it. Just watched this week's episode. Question for those of you that do still watch it....is there something in real life that Sally's show is based on? Because I can't ever see a show like that on TV.

I loved Millie, but not enough to get me to watch again. He won the Emmy in 2014, and the Image Award in 2014 & 2015. I agree with you, the performance never seemed award worthy to me, but there ya go. As for Scandal story-lines, I stopped believing in those about 2 1/2 years ago. That's why I don't get the Shonda love. I think Scandal is a mess, and Murder is following in its footsteps.

So Scandal does a Cosby episode before SVU?
Olivia's outfits were on point this week. No more white, she's the de facto POTUS so she's dressing in a more presidential color. Love her in navy blue.
I thought Huck and Quinn were bad then we get David and Elizabeth. Not feeling this coupling at all.

Apparently I missed this, but why is Olivia's father referred to by both Rowan and Eli(jah)?

Apparently I missed this, but why is Olivia's father referred to by both Rowan and Eli(jah)? I think it depends on what capacity he's being referred to. Rowan: Used by Huck, Jake, Cyrus & at times the President. Pretty much anyone that knew him as the bad ass B613 frontman. Eli Pope: How the public knows him, how Olivia knew him and even then she interchanges his name depending on how he's being referred or whom she's talking to. Mostly I hear her just saying "my father" at this point. I think that's it. For me, I feel like V.P. Susan Ross being the odd-woman out. That being said, I HATE this Rosen/Elizabeth North hook-up. It's awful, forced and it's just plain odd. I'd rather Susan get a little attention and respect. Her back and forth with Rosen is sweet and even if they didn't have a love match, I enjoy their friendship/relationship.

I really dislike what they've done with Eli Pope's character. Does EVERY word have to be a bloated, fast-talking speech? That kinda stuff is only good in small doses. Now he just comes across as a psychopath--which I guess he is, but now he just sounds like a blabbering psychopath, whereas before he seemed more in control and cold blooded.
