She was really good in Martha Marcy May Marlene (or whatever it was called) I think she and Tom make a cute couple, and I feel for them having to deal with the loons. She was awesome in that movie, it's a shame she didn't at least get nominated for an Oscar for it. They both seem like nice enough people, if they are indeed dating I think they make a cute couple.

This picture kept popping up in my FB feed this morning, and I can see why. Looks like he has captured the wired/haunted look of Hank Williams.

I'll go see it and I don't like country music at all.
Sony Pictures Classics recently acquired the movie and it looked like they would be pushing it for awards, but then a few weeks later they bought Don Cheadle's Miles Davis biopic and I think they might bet on that horse instead.

OT: Don Cheadle = Miles Davis? = Girlyghoul in complete puddle of GOO!
Hiddleston! Cheadle! Y'all stop it now! You're distracting me with your spot on bio pic doings!!

I have an interesting (well, it is to me) aside about the new Hank Williams biopic. Cherry Jones is a co-star and my husband and she grew up in the same small town in TN. She is older than he by 15 years so they did not know each other, but he did have her mom as a teacher. Here is where it becomes an even smaller world: Hank Williams Jr. also has a house in that same small town and Husband bagged his groceries in high school.

I love Hank Sr. and some of Hank III - never liked Jr. Love Tom Hiddleston - interesting casting. Even though I've seen him in other things, I still think of him as the bumbling cop in Kenneth Branagh's version of Wallander. I have no thoughts on Elizabeth Olsen. I prefer her to her troll sisters, I suppose but I haven't seen any of her films.

There was a test screening in Boston which has yielded one tweet. The guy who saw it said Elizabeth Olsen was spectacular, and that Hiddleston was very good too but a little limited by the script. One person's opinion, but apparently the role of Hank's wife is a really juicy one.

I'm still skeptical as to whether a Brit can pull off a convincing HW accent.

Tom, posing hard, busting a vein, in his forehead people, don't be nasty about Tay Tay's new man.
