She always gives off such an overwhelming feeling that the point is to NOT look good. At all. Ever.

The boobs are way too smashed - it looks like she skipped some fittings or something.

She's not an unattractive girl at all, but she seems to enjoy people thinking she is. I guess that's the point..

The not having veneers is no excuse. She can afford a $25 box of white strips or even get them Zoomed at the dentist office. She just prefers to look slovenly I guess.

I don't see how having natural teeth is "slovenly".

She always looks like her gowns don't fit quite right, as margojata said - like she skipped fittings. Yes, she has curves, but she shouldn't have this much trouble finding gowns that enhance rather than detract from her appearance.

Lena goes to fashion shows regularly. She sat next to friggin' Victoria Beckham at one recently. So she's obviously into fashion. There's just this huge disconnect between something she has an interest in vs. how she dresses at red carpet events.

She seems like she'd rather look like a hot mess so she can then complain when people point it out. Melissa McCarthy looks amazing when she goes to these events but then again, she seems happy and at ease with herself so that might be the key.

I noticed her teeth too. Wasn't sure if they were really yellow or I now have unrealistic expectations of what teeth are supposed to look like. The color of the dress may have brought out the yellowness too, like a shirt can bring out eye color.

She's still an asshole, though.

It looks to me as if at least some of the tooth colour is due to the orange lipstick smearing on them.

I don't mean it as a criticism, just an observation, but American culture seems obsessed with over-bleached teeth. I work in an organisation that has a lot of American expatriates and even before they speak you can tell who they are from the teeth that look unnaturally white. There's nothing wrong with white teeth, but there's nothing wrong with healthy teeth that haven't been bleached within an inch of their lives either. However, due to the saturation of our media with American TV and film, I see signs that we are starting to import that over-whitening culture too.

Please don't mistake this for defending Lena. I'm no fan.

I think the gown is fine and does fit her well, but I agree with the sentiment that part of the problem is her posture. I would imagine that at the fittings she is probably being told to stand properly so they can make sure the gown fits correctly, but no takes into account the fact that she is a sloucher.

Perhaps the key is to find a gown that works with her bad posture?

For me the other part of the problem is that styling, I don't think the hair and jewelry work with the dress.

I still think she has improved a million percent since last year's disastrous 'Lurch' walk.

Did anyone watch the first two episodes of the new season of Girls? There were some really funny moments and as usual, some highly cringe-worthy moments. I am enjoying it more than Season 2.
