I wonder does he see how dangerous this could be. He was behind the wheel high. He may have not been driving at the time but it takes hours for weed to get out of your system. Depending on the weed the effects could have lingered on while he drove home. It is only right for him to take responsibility! He messed up and could have harm somebody.

True. It's kind of a sad state of affairs when one's impressed by a celebrity because they DIDN'T pass the buck and make excuses when caught doing something both illegal and stupid.

Smashed 3 cars trying to park.

Pop star George Michael crashed into three cars while trying to park his SUV in London early Sunday, according to a Daily Mirror report which quoted witnesses.

Police confirmed that three parked cars had been damaged and that the four-wheel-drive had been found but said the driver had not yet been identified.

The anonymous witnesses quoted by Monday's edition of the tabloid said they had recognized George Michael.

The paper said a representative of the singer had tried to contact the car owners later Sunday to reimburse them for the damage.

The 42-year-old former Wham! singer, whose hits include "Careless Whisper" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go", was taken into custody in central London in February on suspicion of possessing drugs after being found slumped at the wheel of a car.

He spent the night at a police station before being released, and said in a statement: "It is my own stupid fault, as usual."

I hope he gets some help before things become worse.

I think he needs to enter rehab and fast before he kills himself or someone else. Crashing into 1 car by accident whilst parking is one thing, but 3? He must have been going at some speed.

I don't think speed is automatically a given in the situation. He could have been trying to doublepark and scraped/crashed into various cars due to double vision, sensory distortion, and general drunkenness. Either way, I agree that he definitely needs to enter Rehab before someone is hurt the next time around. But since bad things happen in threes and (more to the point), people with addictions often have to hit rock bottom before they seek help, I fear he may have a long way to go.
