Does anyone watch this show? I just started watching it on Netflix (because it has been constantly suggested for ages due to my other viewing choices and I finally gave in), and I was worried at first about any Xena/Hercules type cheesiness that drove me away from the Robin Hood series, but it's actually kind of charming. Not at all loyal to any of the classic Arthurian texts, but reasonably good fun. And there's Giles! From Buffy!

I watch it. I hope it'll be coming back again because I love it.

I watch it. They will be in France filming scenes for the current season.

Cool. When will it start? Early 2013?

I think the start date for the UK is mid-September 2012. There will be a hiatus for Dr. Who, starting in October. The new season won't be shown in the US until 2013.

Yikes, that is a long wait. I should know better than to get sucked into British shows!
I also heard that season 5 is likely to be the last.

I went to school with the actress who plays Morgana (which makes looking at the show a bit surreal at times.)
It's actually kind of fun IMO, even if the characters are perputually juggling the idiot ball around.

Yeah, I really like the show, but I don't know how much longer they can keep everyone out of the Merlin's got magic loop before it becomes ridiculous. It's particularly bad with Arthur because he comes across as a total dunderhead for not having figured it out already. Although, in his case, maybe his brain has been damaged from being knocked out so often.

I'm sad that I've never seen more of the show than the first 1 1/2 seasons or so, I want to catch up one day. It had kind of a clumsy charm about it that I liked. I've heard all sorts of unfortunate things about the show's fandom though.
