Mutagen, in the trailers Aaron is shown talking to someone on the phone (airplane scene) saying, "you should have left me alone", so I assumed that was a cut scene with Norton. It didn't make much sense that this organization couldn't track them down until they were already at the production facility.

Oh you're right, I forgot about that! I wonder how it would have been if they'd left that in. What I think made the lack of contact frustrating is that the characters actually did seem like really interesting adversaries.

I liked it. Didn't love it. The plot felt a little thin. I was expecting more and then it ended. It seemed as though they were trying to make it unnecessarily complicated at the beginning what with all the chatter about outcome, programs, treadstone etc. I do think that someone who'd never seen a Bourne movie would be really confused.

I must say that if I woke up tomorrow morning looking like Rachel I would not mind one bit. She's stunning.

Yeah, I haven't seen the last one and I found the first hour very confusing (and boring, tbh), but once things picked up (when Rachel's and Jeremy's characters crossed paths) I enjoyed the rest of the movie and was able to figure out the basic plot. I thought the two had nice chemistry which doesn't always happen in action movies.

I was SO disappointed in this. I thought the plot was really thin and that the pacing was really off (without being spoilery and because I regard spoiler tags as akin to rocket science, I thought the extended chase scene that closed out the movie felt like the climax and what I think was supposed to be the climax was, um, anticlimactic). And I always resent feeling that a movie is nothing more than a set up for sequels. The last component of my disappointment wasn't the movie's fault, but I had rather hoped that the 'there was never just one yadda yadda' bit would happen in the first five minutes and then we would get to the movie Matt Damon said no to.

I'll see the inevitable sequels, I suppose, but overall I'm not satisfied.

Saw it last night and enjoyed it. Went in with no expectations, which probably helped.

I liked it a lot. I was afraid that it was going to be a pale imitation of Bourne, but I think that they did a great job expanding the universe. And although it seems like they left us hanging, I like that there are several options for the next movie--bring back Bourne, Cross, Bourne and Cross--hell, someone new from this Treadstone But Meaner program. And as usual, everyone did a fantastic job, acting-wise. The scene in the old house was excellent. Have they greenlit a sequel yet?

Yes Renner is definitely on my Five Freebie list. I will even laminate it.
