I thought I saw the King and Queen of Sweden get off the bus full of euro royals at the arrival bit I watched. I must have been mistaken, the commentary wasn’t giving names but I thought I recognized the Queen.
Edit Nice photos, These Royal kids are all getting so grown up!

Here's an amusing throwback video to the 2017 Polar Music Prize, an annual Swedish award honoring classical and contemporary musicians. Like the Kennedy Center Honors, other notable musicians pay tribute to that year's laureates. That year, Sting was the contemporary musician honored. Jose Feliciano covered "Every Breath You Take" and Sting, seated in the audience, is trying to hide the fact that he does not agree with Feliciano's artistic choices. The Swedish royal family is also in frame. Victoria and Madeleine politely bop along, Silvia and Carl Philip are stoic, and Daniel looks 80% as pained as Sting. At one point Carl Gustaf side eyes the camera a la Jim from The Office.

Bah, ha, ha! I’m glad Jose can’t see Sting’s reaction. Whose idea was it to have the blind guy sing an entire song about watching somebody?
At least twice Trudie has to check on Sting to make sure he’s still breathing.
I’m sure there are DOZENS of people they could have gotten to cover Sting who would have done an amazing job. There was a concert to celebrate Sting’s 60th birthday and there were a lot of great performances from that—Rufus Wainwright, Stevie Wonder (also blind!), Annie Lennox, Bruce Springsteen…
