does anyone else wonder if the wife's boyfriend is an undercover agent? that he's not just some jealous guy? when he bugged the house, my first thought was he still needed to get intel from the c.i.a. but i could be wrong. i usually am!

I totally think he's an agent and not jealous. Saul's wife is attractive but this guy is pretty young by comparison. I guess that I was just suspicious to begin with because of that. Not that it never happens between an older woman and younger man. It's just that this is a show full of spies so everything sets my paranoia off. Ha.

So I was right. Alan is a spy! Wonder if they'll revisit his connection to Lockhart? Overall, I liked the episode, but how can no one know Carrie is 4-5 months pregnant? Major plot hole. I kept waiting for Carrie to tell Brody the news, or tell him she loves him. Something. Also, with the recent diplomatic news coming out of Iran, this episode was rather good timing for Showtime, non? (Not that real life has anything to do with this show, but the fact that Saul's plan is supposedly to improve US/Iranian relations, and lo and behold, what happened this week?) Having said that. Flimsy storyline. Saul is taking a huge gamble. So much could go very wrong. Trusting our safety on a double agent with a very violent streak, and a former marine who's spent so much time in captivity, and is barely over being a drug addict in a hell hole? Saul, you're killing me. Still want to see where this goes. I just hope Homeland doesn't veer too much into Scandal territory.

This was really just a transitional episode so they could get Brody from heroin junkie to CIA assassin in one episode, but once again they are straining credulity with the timeline.
I don't know where they'll go with the pregnancy, but it's obvious Carrie doesn't really give a shit.

I was like, did she take up smoking just so she could add that to the pile of detrimental things that have already been done to this fetus?! Damian Lewis did a fantastic job in that episode... Brody seemed so broken, it was chilling. Where did all the hot bearded dudes come from? I told my BFF who was watching with me that they must have hired the wolf pack from Twilight to train Brody. Haha.

I would like a spin off with the wolf pack. Or a webisode. Or a calendar. I'm not picky.

When the backgammon playing hottie was telling Brody about his family and how he didn't like to talk about them because he was superstitious, I actually said "nice knowing you" out loud.
I don't understand where they're going with this pregnancy storyline. It feels so out-of-step with everything else that's happening around it.

Yowza, this last ep had my nerves on edge. Still unclear about the pregnancy angle but at least there was action and a lovely lack of Dana.
