Kanye's been dead to me since "Slavery was a choice" and all his other bitchassness. So no dog in this fight. I hope he and Kim continue to sling mud at each other and cover themselves in this glorious hot mess. When Kanye was shilling for the Kardashians, he had no problem with her. When Kim was riding his coat tails to magazine covers and fashion connections, while defending his outbursts, she had no problem with him.
They are both equally vile and this ugliness they've created is just karma on both ends. Well deserved. No sympathy for either of them.
The Tiktok account should be closed, because it's not about it being a cute mom and daughter thing. With the Kardashians, it's a gateway to more fame with the next generation. Why does North need to be on Tiktok to have fun, be creative? They're rich enough that Kim can enroll her in any class, learn to make videos whatever. Just like how Kylie and Kendall grew up with cameras around them so it became normal, Kim is doing the same with North and this Tiktok thing.

Christ. He is so aggressively his own worst enemy. But I’m sure he believes what he’s saying. Best of luck to their children. Kanye suffers from both megalomania and a mental illness, and sometimes it feels difficult to differentiate the personality issues from the mental illness issues. I don't want to come down really hard on a man who is suffering. Having said that, it feels like he's lashing out bc he knows he lost the battle here. (The battle to win her back? The battle to make her jealous?) I hope he has people around him who care for his well being. I hope he gets help. Those kids don't need a father who attacks their mother. |

The Kardashians have BEEN a problem, there are countless examples of their cultural appropriation, low-key racism, entitlement, white privilege, and straight up awful behavior but people still go to bat for them and enrich them further. I'm all for get your money, live your life and I don't begrudge them that. I SMH at the people who claim to be fans. What are you a fan of? What are you aspiring to? Distorted female body image? Fetishizing black men? Look up Khloe's charming comments about this. Cultural appropriation? Terrible parenting? See Kourtney going in on about a nanny who was doing her damn job. Then she excuses her kids' literal acting out (apparently they get violent with their caregivers). Mean girling anyone who dares to affront them? Remember when Khloe googled a random pic of a teenager and passed it off as some celeb who'd said something about her. Calling their mother all sorts of names on their show? I don't care how awful Kris is, you can't be a grown woman cussing out your mother on TV. It's low-class shit. And that's just random things I know from normal media coverage, I don't watch their show so the fact that this is common to a casual observer shows how problematic they've been. So to bring this on topic - let Kanye and Kim destroy each other in the media and hopefully they can all disappear from the mainstream. |

I had a friend (an adult woman) who loves Kylie. Refused to hear that Kylie, especially, had any work done on her face and it was all good makeup and photo filters - this was aspirational and Kylie (and Kendall, as a highly paid model who just used similar makeup tricks) was just so cool. No shame in anyone getting plastic surgery but come on.
As it became more and more obvious that the sisters have significantly altered their faces and bodies, my friend shifted into “well, they are genius marketers and business people!” When people would tell her they don’t do anything and are figureheads at best for the makeup lines and clothing brands, she denies that. Her fallback is that the family is relevant and trendsetting for years, where others have failed, and that is captivating.
To keep on topic, Kanye at least produces music and writes/records his own music.
