I watched the first few minutes and turned it off, it's not funny to me anymore.

Oh my god, Danny dancing to Aaliyah seriously just made my life. I was choking from laughing so hard. It was such a cute gift for Mindy, too... awww! I felt bad for Danny at the end even though he's the one who didn't go outside when Mindy asked him.

That dancing Danny scene managed to be funny, sweet and hot...all at the same time! It almost seemed like Mindy invited him to go outside without thinking about it (I love that she continues to be a combination of very deliberate and overplanning and super impulsive.) Man, I love Marc Duplass a little more every time I see him!

I've watched this episode four times now. Love it! "Go, give me peace." Danny is hands down the best character. And I must say I much prefer this show to The New Girl.

I love Danny so much. That dance was awesome.
And I liked the callback to the last holiday episode when they played "Last Christmas" briefly.

Chris Messina is so solid as Danny I almost feel bad to be rooting for the show's demise. Mark Duplass is so precisely douchey that I really, really wish that the show was about the brothers midwifery practice and the ob-gyn practice were supporting players. Now that is a retooling I could get behind. I don't get the need for. Adam Pally's character. Doesn't Morgan fulfill the ludicrous employee with a sweet side role? The actor that plays Morgan even writes, calling out the criticisms of the series and it's worship of white dudes in a recent ep ( and thankfully adding some depth to Tamra's character). Adam Pally & Ed Weeks are dead weight. But IMHO so is Mindy. If she were producer-writer of the show and not lead character I think I would enjoy the show more. Her acting isn't that great and I think it's to the show's detriment.

I like Adam Pally actually, but I would be fine with them getting rid of Ed Weeks's character- I don't really see a purpose for him anymore. I have to completely disagree on Mindy as I LOVE her.

Agreed - Ed Weeks' character doesn't add much to the show but Mindy is my absolute favorite. I love so many of her little comments and asides, like having a Google alert on Rachel McAdams and being mad that the brown M&M is copying her style.

Ike/Morgan blurting out that he monitors what the nurse eats almost made me do a spit take. It was so random and strange! And an employee in Mindy's office lighting the Charlie Brown tree in the background was funny to me. So yeah, I'd love more diversity but seeing how Mindy's writing team rolls (all white men, I believe), I don't know if it'll happen anytime soon. (They should feel free to bring back Larenz Tate! Or someone with ethereal beauty like Sendhil Ramamurthy.) I'd enjoy any non-white love interest at this point. I like Glenn Howerton but he doesn't really bring anything new to the table.
