Okay, I stopped watching during season 2 because I just couldn't anymore.
But they got out of the dome through some magic wormhole in a giant cave that they accessed through a school locker and ended up in the sand of a playground in the next town. (See? That sentence right there? That's why I stopped.)
My only question is: why are they still in that damn dome if they got out last season?

The people who found the magic wormhole didn't see fit to tell the rest of the town for over a week, and then it was destroyed before they made it out. Sadly, there's no chance we'll see the finders beaten to death by an angry mob.

Okay, thanks. So are some of the original cast out of the dome or did the morons all go back in? And how did the wormhole get destroyed?

Oh Mugsy, don't you know anything? The Alien Egg that the Murdered Girl who came back to life stole from the Father of two previously unknown siblings inside the dome, who is outside the Dome on a Super Sekrit mission with the hot nerd who snuck his way into the impenetrable dome through the worm hole that goes to the lake, the sandpit, the door in the woods, and the other place.
I mean, duh!

Let's not forget the Matrix-style fake reality versus real reality. Just like with the Matrix, I'd take the fake reality over the real reality anyday. Why? Because it's easier and I'm lazy, that's why. Besides, what's reality anyway? Maaaaaaaaan.

I was trying to watch this last night. I got lost when everyone was talking about being in cocoons. Steven King wrote this? Seriously? It's his idea of playing a joke on us, right?

Stephen King wrote the book, and he wrote the first episode of the second season. Other than that, the similarities between book and TV series include: - A Dome
- A Town Under a Dome
- A Dome
The four main characters are from the book, but Junior is completely different. And, while the book is a (fast moving) 800 pages, it all takes place wihin a week or so. So much potential. So much unintentional disaster.

I don't know about you, but I've always found underground gritty, cocoon-having, gooey-substance dribbling caves that shouldn't exist, HOT!!!
The writers are obviously writing this under the dome influence of spectacular mind altering drugs.

Did everyone give up on this again, because I am now positive that Indy the Dog will be the new leader of humanity.
