{Spoiler}- Dia and John (Bennett), their storyline was so beyond BORING. It was stupid for Dia to think that anything would be normal with having this baby while in prison from her C.O. At least this guy gives a shit and is trying to do something about it. He may be stupid, but still not a jerk. Pornstache creeps me on all levels. I doubt he's gone, but I hope he will be because he's got me all irked from his stint on SVU.

- NOT enough Sophia! She is heaven and smart as all get out. Her schooling the ladies on their vajayjays?! Classic. I'm loving her new 'do, too.

- Healy is a huge double standard. So this season he decides to have 'Tuckey has his new "Chapman"? Why does everyone have to have the same screwed up "values" as him? His is such a homophobe and with a prison full of women of all orientations, he's in the wrong place as a counselor. At least he did the right thing in clearing Crazy-eyes from being fingered as hurting Red.

- Polly & Larry are the two biggest assholes. In prison Piper has relations with her ex. She's lonely, confused and told Larry about it. However, this was a stranger to Larry and wasn't personal. Screwing your fiance/ex-finance's best friend (and vice versa!) not long after splitting with each other is some serious shade. And like Piper said, Polly is married! And just had a baby! Jesus, WHO DOES THAT?! And they have to act all high and mighty? Whatever. At least Polly has a shred of guilt.

- Alex - get off my screen. I hate your character and everything about you. You abandon someone who loved you, trick them and leave them holding the gun. I'm ticked she's most likely coming back. And screw you Piper for letting her get caught.

A lot of the characters had their back stories told in more vivid detail then last season. Who would have thought that Morreno was planning her wedding with a guy she only just met? LAWD. I didn't see it going that direction at all. But she'll still a sweet girl who I think was too far inside her own fantasies.

Glad that Fig got what was coming to her, but just not with her personal life. She was a bad person, but I think her husband should get some of the blame and get totally shafted, too.

"It's only my second day!!" Do feel a little sad for him! He is only trying to make things better.

I just wish it didn't take so damn long for Vee to get her comeuppance. But woo-hoo for Rosa! Don't fear the reaper, bitch!

I'm on ep 4. I'm trying to savor the episodes more b/c when I binge watch I notice I forget a bunch of stuff from one season to the next.

I just finished season 2. I was all about Taystee and Nicki in season 1, but this year Black Cindy was my MVP. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment she was onscreen.

I'm up to episode 10, and I have to admit, it took a while for the new episodes to gel with me. The first episode was straight up boring. The adventures of Piper was a huge snore. I did enjoy Lori Petty's part though. Alex is scum, but what's new.

I can't stand Vee. She's the fucking Devil. I can't believe Taystee is falling for her bullshit. Again.

I'm not really feeling Suzanne this season either. It's like they went too far, and made her almost non-functioning. She's smarter and more capable than they are portraying her. I know she's under the influence of a master manipulator, but they have completely infantilized her.

And my God, just when you think Larry couldn't get any worse! But what's Polly's problem! Piper is her friend! Jebus, these people suck.

I've seen up to episode 6 but then I got impatient and watched the finale. Non spoilery-thoughts.

MVP of the season for me was Poussey. She was fantastic.
Nicky and Big Boo were the comic highlights.

{Spoiler}I don't know where they are going with Larry. He is the worst. I really hope they don't bring him back for season 3. He is pointless. Its funny because didn't the real Piper end up with Larry in real life? I wonder what the real Larry thinks of his fictional counterpoint. I'd be totally insulted.

I also hate Diaz and Bennett's storyline. It is so unrealistic. In reality it is such an abuse of power. She is literally his prisoner. Yet they are trying to play if off like some cutesy romance. I think this show in general is not so great with the heterosexual relationships.

Vee was hateful but Lorraine Toussaint did an excellent job. She was terrifying. I was almost sorry to see her go.

I agree that they made Crazy Eyes a little too simple. But I have to say that the child actors who played her in the flashbacks were perfect.

Morello's story was messed up. I don't understand how if she planted a bomb in her obsession's girlfriend car why she would not be in maximum security. That is attempted murder.

I would have liked to see more Sophia.

So I guess that is how they get Alex back in prison. I was happy that she had such a small part this season. I am not looking forward to having her back full time.

The only thing I can think of for Moreno is that she didn't plant a bomb that was legit (just fake) and was meant to only scare or they couldn't physically tie it to her and prove attempted murder.

But how crazy was it for that guy to go to the prison and confront her thinking, knowing, it was her that broke into their home the week prior? Wouldn't he have thought she was, I don't know...locked up and couldn't get out?

Ugh. Sophia was WASTED! I cared not one whit for Soso and her bullshit. Or 'Tucky's minions. Zzz. Vee obviously added something, but it edged out the rest of the cast that I love. Could've used less time on Daya, too. Meh.

{Spoiler}Polly and Larry? Are you fucking kidding me? Get off my screen! But helping Piper get her revenge on Alex was awesome.

I bawled like a little girl at the end with Rosa since she said she always pictured herself going down in a blaze of glory. You know that's what was going to happen. And fuck yes for her hitting Vee! Get it, girl.

Taystee royally pissed me off. Poussey ("accent a droit, bitch!") was there for her the entire time before Vee showed up. Yes, Vee was mama when she was a child, but she obviously knew that Vee was responsible for RJ's death since she mentioned it at the end. That's just not the kind of BS you can forget.

90% of the show is fiction. In the book there was, say, a nice nun. Red, that had made a family in prison, and kind of ruled the roost (ha, the chicken from last season...). Yoga Jones was a dope lady, etc. The book was actually pretty boring. I think I still have it on PDF if anyone would like to, uh, borrow it.

True, plus we don't know if she was actually convicted of stalking, we just saw her at trial. Maybe she got off and it was the credit card fraud she went down for. I guess if she was stalking him for years I could see why he might think she somehow found a way to break into his house no matter how impossible that may seem. What bugs me is that sure I can see the cops thinking he was crazy. But you'd think they'd still put a quick call into the prison to make sure she hadn't escaped. They would've realized that she had been out and did have opportunity.

I finished the rest of the episodes. Pennsatucky was less annoying this season but still kind of pointless. Her ex-minions have stepped up and become even more annoying in her place.

Also, holy crap is Brook annoying. Its like the show heard the complaints that Piper was whiny and self-absorbed so they said oh yeah? Here is a character even more narcissistic and whiny.

Just finished it. What a weekend. I was happy to see the focus shift from Piper, but she and her storyline remained the least interesting. Spoilers:Larry and Polly can never be shown or mentioned again thanks. Please no more of the Alex/Piper merry-go-round, but I fear that will be the major center point next season. Sigh.

Daya's attitude annoyed me relentlessly. The hot and cold running feelings, and wanting Bennett to go to jail too?! What?! Why?! He crossed a line, and broke the law, but if the choice is between pornstache and Bennett, there's no question.

Go Rosa! And wow at the grannies rocking this season. The gardening group were gangsters. I hope they're still around next year.

Overall, it was an okay, not great season. B-/C+
