Let's face it... if anyone else wore the gowns she's been wearing, there is no way each and every gown would be the stunners that they are on her. Those stylists should pay her for making them look good. Her skin is such a creamy chocolate, it compliments every bright color I've seen her in. She's so beautiful, young and fresh, she makes most models seem haggard.

Her stylist is Micaela Erlanger, who also works with Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary of "Downtown Abbey"). NY Mag's "The Cut" has more info on Nyong'o's style.

I'm really interested in seeing where her career will go from here. The only other prominent non-American black actress in her age range that I can think of is Naomie Harris.

Dang, Gawker has her interview with Jimmy Kimmel and a link to her interview with Craig Ferguson. I live in a cave, so I hadn't see interviews before. Wow, that's all I got. Charismatic and charming. Amazing.

She could easily retire and hawk a line of skin creams if she wanted to. Does anyone have any HD pictures of her? Because it seems unfair that her skin seems basically pore-less.
She's so gorgeous and talented, but it's difficult to find good roles for women in Hollywood, not least of all for women of color (or casting people who are willing to overlook race in their casting decisions). I understand why so many actresses want to cultivate close relationships with directors who make films with strong or interesting parts for women (such as Kiera Knightley and Joe Wright, Uma and Quentin, Jennifer Lawrence and David Russell etc.). I wonder what sorts of roles she's going to be offered after the Oscars?

She's in that movie coming up with Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore and Michelle Dockery. She plays a flight attendant. :/ I think that she will be offered some good roles. She a mighty fine actress and seems like a doll to be around. I look forward to watching her career.

yes I am interested in seeing what she will get too. She looks fantastic, but let's face it there are not a whole lot of good roles for Black women in Hollywood. And I am sure there are some current black Hollywood actresses who will be looking to see who is up for their new roles in the coming year. good luck.
