Same here. I didn't miss her when she was "dead" and I dreaded her inevitable return. If she was the best actress that auditioned then I'd hate to see how bad the rest may have been. I will watch in the fall probably just to see where it goes, but I think they've gotten themselves in too much of a mess to sort it out now. And a personal peeve is when TV shows add a baby/children. I wish they would develop some of the other characters more, especially Ressler. I will probably check out the spinoff too just to see where the Tom Keen story goes and because I like Famke Janssen. But if it bores me, which is likely with these writers, then I'll probably peace out on both shows. Sorry, Spader.

Anyone watch the Premiere Thurs? Red is a man on a mission. That kidnapper better watch out.

I just hope Mr. Kaplan survived the car crash and that her and Red make up. I still love her, even though she messed up royally with Liz.

Anyone watch the Premiere Thurs? Red is a man on a mission. That kidnapper better watch out. Very true. He is bound to meet his demise in an extremely painful way! I thought it was a really strong episode and made me look forward to the rest of the season. I can't say the same about many other series. I'm the exact opposite. I made it through 15 mins before deciding to switch to something else.

Dear god, why do these writers make Liz so dumb?! Yeah, great idea to crash the plane that's taking you to see your daughter, put your life in peril in the middle of the ocean, only to end up back on a plane going to see your daughter 1/2 hour later in the same episode. Only now you pissed off your "dad" and your daughter's gone to who knows where. So dumb. At the end of the episode, though, I did enjoy Tom being out of that god awful palm leaf print shirt and back into a tight black t-shirt. Sun's out, guns out

My only question is: what is the deal with Mr. Kaplan? Is she going to go after Red now? She's a pretty powerful enemy, she knows everything. Red is gonna regret all this.

I used to look forward to the procedural stuff and excellent guest actor villains. Now it's full of meathead Liz Keen, boring husband drama and baby-in-jeopardy plots. What the hell.
It hadn't been on air long enough to get stale, so I'm mystified why they would take a hit show and completely revamp it. So frustrating. I wish Liz would die for real.

Well, damn. I actually liked Tom. Though it does amuse me that the baby has been a non-entity, much like their dog in the first season. These two should not have responsibility for another living creature. Not that I wanted the kid around. Occasionally mentioning her was more than enough.
