Anybody else watch it? What did you think?

I liked it. I'll definitely watch because this seems like a tamer version of Hannibal/Silence of the Lambs.
I didn't think I was going to like Liz, but she's grew on me when she stabbed Spader in the neck. Do you think she's his daughter. There were enough anvils to make me think she is and she knows it, but won't acknowledge it.

Yeah, I think she's his daughter, if for no other reason than they ever mentioned what became of her when he "disappeared". And then there's the more obvious thing of why he requested her. Liked the show. James Spader is so delightfully slimy and I love him.

I liked it too! I was entertained the whole time. James Spader was great in this. And I also think she's his daughter which means he's the one that burned her hand?

I think he did burn her hand, but the context remains a mystery.

Wow, I must be dumber than I thought because I so did not pick up on that. It does seem rather obvious when I think about it though.
I wonder what the deal with her husband is.

Her husband is bad news, apparently. I wonder if we'll see him again, he was in such bad shape. His suitcase full of goodies, though, makes for future script ideas.

I thought I'd love the show, but I didn't. I feel like it's a darker version of White Collar, but I will watch this show again, just to find out if Liz is his daughter. I too am in the boat that Liz is his daughter, but so many anvils were dropped about it, I'm wondering if they'll do a switch-a-roo and not make her his daughter. Maybe he knew her dad (like a long lost uncle?) and his dying wish was for him to make everything right with her? I don't know, it just seems too much of a foregone conclusion that he's her dad.

I liked it, but Spader's such a large presence he overshadows everyone else (though the agent gets points for stabbing him in the neck in the pilot ep!). I think her being the daughter is too on-the-nose, though he may know her father.

Who is the blondish actor playing the FBI agent we saw at the beginning (well, and throughout, obviously). I know I've seen him in other stuff, but I'm drawing a blank right now (and too tired to try to look him up).
I did enjoy the show, but it still freaks me out to see James Spader older. In my mind's eye, he will always be the age he was in Pretty in Pink, dammit!
