I'm marathoning this right now. I love it! The supporting characters are great, and I like Samberg's character, too. I like his mix of smart and capable with cringy bravado. This is the perfect show for me now that there's no more Psych--it has the same comic tone, with some lite Law & Order parody mixed in.
ETA: I am so into this show. I love the little dynamics between the non-Jake characters, I love Andre Braugher, I love Gina.
ETA again: I have things to do but I don't want to stop watching. This is killing me.

I was bummed that this show didn't get a lot of Emmy love. I love the entire cast. The dinner party episode at the Captain's house is one of the funniest episodes I've seen in years.

I wish it had gotten more attention from the Emmys as well. I watched the episode where the Captain and Sergeant were tinkering with the squad room the other night and their chemistry is hilarious.

I do think Andre Braugher has a good shot of winning in his category though. He's been nominated 7 other times and has won twice. The Emmys love him.

Anyone see it last night? I watch real tv so rarely that I almost missed it, but I was so happy to see it back. It wasn't the strongest episode I've seen and yet I laughed and laughed.

I watched it. It was ok. I'm getting tired of the "two people you thought would never sleep together slept together" trope.
