I did like Richard Jewell and Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates and Paul Walter Hauser are all excellent, but Olivia's character is an absolute embarrassment to journalism. She might as well been nude, with a sign saying "Will Fuck for Tips". Just awful.

"I handled Richard Jewell's case against AJC for 16 years. By the time the case ended, Richard & Ms. Scruggs had both passed away. There was NO evidence to support a storyline that Ms. Scruggs traded sex for tips about Richard. We never made such a false & damning claim."

I'm glad the movie is bombing.

I must admit, I didn't see this coming. Or maybe I wasn't really looking? Hard to believe they were engaged for 7 years. I kept think they were already married!

I'm not the engagement police but I'm also going to decree that a seven year engagement (particularly between two people who can surely afford whatever wedding they want) is too damn long.

I think she's a pretty cool person, and while I don't know of anything wrong with him per se, he always seemed like he was just along for the ride. She seemed to be the one with all of the enthusiasm for him and for the relationship.

She's becoming a very successful director and she's got two kids, maybe she didn't feel the need to carry dead weight anymore? I don't know, but I feel like she's better off.

I've always liked her and, despite his talent, side-eyed him. Kind of surprised it lasted this long, unfortunately.

I was surprised by this too. I wonder how much sheltering in place contributed to this (if at all)? I just always wonder how people who are that successful--and therefore, ambitious--are around the house. Particularly during this weird time when people weren't working. Can't be super fun.
