If there weren’t 2 kids involved I’d sign on to this sentiment wholeheartedly. I wonder who was the Roy dragging their feet in the relationship and who was the Pam? Does this make Harry Jim?
Sounds like Jason’s ego is seriously bruised by Olivia dating a man 20 years younger than him.

Given that they've been engaged for seven years without ever announcing wedding plans, I get this feeling he wanted the perks of marriage without ever really committing. Now he's mad that she's found a 20something who thinks she's hot.

Exactly, which is why I'm unimpressed by his attempts to portray her in the media as a cheater. He doesn't get to hold her to a vow of fidelity that she never made. |

It sure seems like there was some ugliness on that set- the appearances in Venice seem AWKWARD AF.
Kind of makes me want to see the movie, which of course makes me wonder if the awkwardness is a put on to drum up interest.
I blame TomKat for my skepticism.

Prior to the Shia LaBeuf drama, there were rumors that Florence Pugh did not get along with Olivia Wilde because Flo did not approve of Olivia cheating on Jason Sudeikis with Harry Styles. This made no sense to me because even if it was cheating, I doubt Flo would consider that her business.
I have subsequently read an explanation from a legit media source that did make sense, which is that Flo and some of the rest of the cast/crew were annoyed that Olivia kept disappearing with Harry Styles while they were filming. Olivia would be needed between setups and nobody could talk to her because she was off canoodling with Harry.
Also, the movie was filmed back when somebody testing positive for COVID would shut the production down (which I believe it did at one point), so everybody was supposed to take precautions including not attending parties. And then in the middle of filming, Olivia and Harry Styles attended a wedding together and it was all over social media. So people were annoyed that the director and her favorite cast member were flaunting the rules that everyone else was expected to follow.
If Olivia was also coddling Shia's possibly inappropriate methods at Florence's expense, then I can see why they don't have a great relationship and why Flo is trying to remain distant, while still meeting her obligations to promote the movie.

It's probably not the first time it's happened, but it might've been a strange boundary issue for Olivia to be directing Florence and Harry in intimate graphic love scenes while Olivia was participating in real intimate activities with Harry off set (on set?). I can understand how it would feel weird.
This is the kind of low stakes Hollywood gossip drama that I live for. Much more entertaining than Britney or Kanye drama and I don't feel guilty for watching it like a slow motion car crash.

If I was at work and my boss kept everyone waiting because she kept disappearing with one of my co-workers and then the two of them flaunted the rules everyone was expected to follow, I would be pissed, too.
I really don’t understand everything going on here, but I loved all of the memes yesterday of Chris Pine looking like he’d rather be off somewhere else swallowing razor blades than out promoting this film.

I love how Tom and Lorenzo gave each one of them their own fashion feature in part to talk about different aspects of the drama. lolz
It's been a few months since I saw the movie trailer, but I think I want to see it.

I’m always surprised when clear tension bleeds through photos of casts. They are actors. You would think they could just, you know, act happy for the cameras. With that said, if the rumors are true then I can’t blame Flo or the rest of the cast for being annoyed. Both Olivia and Harry have been in the biz long enough to know better. Finally, I remained amazed Harry Styles landed a role in the MCU. |
